Thank you for keeping it simple!!!!
You bet!
What is that rubbing alcohol for? Is it okay to skip it??
Does it have to be refrigerated to solidify?
I feel it
Where do you get the little screen that lets the air out on the top of the jar?
Those lids are called "frog lids" and we bought ours on Amazon:)
How strong are the scents? How much room footage will it travel? How long do they last? Most gel type home air fresheners bought in the stores don't do much of anything or last long. I am trying to find/make home air fresheners that are safe/healthy.
How strong the scent is will really depend on how much essential oil you add to the mixture so you can adjust it to your liking 🙂 They should last for at least 3 weeks, if not a month. The gel will slowly evaporate, sending the scent into the air all around the jar.
@@OneLittleProjectI am wondering amounts to add if I use fragrance oil instead of essential
Leave outside the refrigerator for 2 - 3 hours. It will return to its liquid state, Right?
It shouldn't, but if it's a VERY hot day or close to a heat source it might.
How long will it last?
Until it dries out...which will depend on the environment its in
Does it mold after a long time?
Where did you get jar like those?

My mom and I made these. When they got hot they melted. They also molded. What will keep them from molding?
They last about 3 weeks without molding with our recipe, but if the weather is too hot that might affect their durability 🙁
Add preservative-gernmal plus is good at .5%
The oil wouldn't mix with the water. It will keep on floating on top of water. Essentially making it useless.
One tip if the oil want to mix with the water you can add small amount of detergent liquid and mix well then you can add essential oil now the oil will mix well with the water😊
Does anyone tried this?
Can you use agar agar?
We haven't tried it with agar agar ☹️
Yes you can use agar agar
