Wow! My daughter bought home boxes of Himalayan Salt and said they were cheap in our local shop. I was wondering what to do with them. Now you've given me another project. Looks like an awesome gift. Thank you again !!
Simple effective and minimum mess and effort! I’ve tried in the past to make rock salt candles using water and oil in jars from other TH-cams as they look really nice. End result….. messy as heck time consuming and… well. If you get the mix wrong the end result goes in bin. This is the quickest and easiest way to sent ones home with added bonus of gift ideas for family and friends. Thank you 🙏
You have such a lovely way of presenting. I love the idea as its natural and better than toxic chemical smells. I have tonnes of epsom salts, so will try it. A home really needs nice scents to make it feel good.
Well that's great it's just pink himalayan salt I'm the exporter of pink himalayan salt around the world in different forms like edible fine granules tiles lamps
Thank you I just watched another channel and they were putting three different fragrances over the salt and I was wondering if you could use an essential Oil so thank you.
How long can I burn it? Will it get roasted? I suppose you replace it when there is no more smell. Can we reuse the burnt salt and add essential oil for next use? Sorry for the list of questions. Thanks in advance.
The essential oils would generally scorch if used directly. This can alter the scent but the salt absorbs the oil and it diffuses more gently :). Many years ago people would add the oil to water above a tealight but it isn't as strong as this method for me
Ooh, that's a Old school thing.. I love those, but I have to admit, I don't think their stronger than my Wax Melts, Jk LOL 😂 They keep The fragrance foreevveerr

You will love it, easy and really powerful scent!
What a great idea. I’ve got some odds and ends of essential oils that I don’t use and I’ve been wondering what to do with them! Thanks Sarah x
Yay! So glad you like the idea
@@SoapSchoolUK how long would you say it last in a heated wax melter?
I wonder if it would be cheaper than buying Yankee Candles wax melts?
@@ritawashere5787 I think it would be cheaper

Kosher salt works fine, too. :) 🌬️🌷❤
What an awesome idea! 👌
So glad you like it Karin :)
I would assume this is much safer than using plain oil / water in the warmer! I’ve always been nervous about that.
Thank you I just watched another channel and they were putting three different fragrances over the salt and I was wondering if you could use an essential Oil so thank you.
Absolutely Francine. Hope you enjoy x
What a great idea!!!
So glad you like it Nancy!
I have epson salt and candle melt can I warm it in the candle melt ? Love your idea
Yes, absolutely
Thanks for this! How long does the scent last?
Mine lasts the whole day from one or two tsp
Do these need to cure for a certain time frame before adding them to a wax warmer? For stronger HT? Thanks these are so cute!
No they are ready to use
Hi sarah, is this save for newborn? Because I have a newborn and want to try it, and can i use fragrance oil? , thank u love how you explain it ☺
I would not use too many highly scented items around any newborn baby but there are no specific regulations for age use that I am aware of
Thanks!

The salt wont burn but will eventually stop smellung. Yu could actually re-use the salt and add more scent to it if you wanted to :)
Awesome ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Thank you ❤🤗🙌❣🙏😇❤🤗🙌❣🙏😇
I love that you love this project Eva
Hi.. Does da fragrance last? Thank u
Derek' food and this is creative dont you think 😂
Does it have an expiration?
Is it must to light it up
Do you just dump the salts afterwards and put fresh in?
Yes, or you can refresh with more oils :)
Where did you get the jars from ? & can I make candles in them?
They were from NIcandlesupply.com
Hi Sarah do the salts need to be dried before bottling?
You can dry them for a day but as they are oils rather than water based items they wont really dry as such :)
*W... Guuuuud...*
I tried it but it with fragrance oil but it started to smoke a little is this ok?
That is usually the oils evaporating and diffusing but always keep an eye on it
@@SoapSchoolUK thank you
Lovely, thank you. How is this different than just pouring essential oil or fragrance directly onto the burner? Thanks again

@@SoapSchoolUK thank you soap master 🫡
@@ella.ameen96 Thanks for spending time with me Ella x
Is it safety for health?
Absolutely, it is a widely used item by many brands
Many thanks for your response 🙏

I make melts and candles too but these just work so well
