KITV4 Aging Well - Bilingual Access Line

Last year KITV4's Diane Ako spoke to Helping Hands Hawaii President and CEO Susan Furuta about our Bilingual Access Line's app during a segment of Aging Well. The app makes accessing an interpreter as easy as the touch of a few buttons and has been an incredible tool for people who don't speak English well and the companies that serve them.
The Bilingual Access Line offers more than 250 languages through audio (phone), video and, in certain cases, in person services. Language assistance services may be requested on demand or scheduled ahead of time. These services are beneficial in situations where language prevents people from connecting with and understanding one another, and they reduce the language inequity encountered by communities who speak limited English.
