I've been playing AC1 for the first time and having a blast. This guide helped me a lot in my second run, it's hard to find any concrete info on this game that's also organized and presented well like you've done so thank you!
It took me hours to find the Moonlight when I first got this game. No help, as I let someone borrow my issue of Tips and Tricks with the Partlist and guide. LoL! I knew a hidden part was in that dungeon I just knew I had to look. It was a loooong haul, but well worth the wait. Especially since the Moonlight was capable of throwing blue energy waves that sparked with Plus abilities.
Appreciate the guide! Re-edit: I thought my game was glitched but it was mistaken thankfully! The "overall %" stat doesn't record game completion the way most games do. It seems to also factor in failures, and that subtracts from your total. Actual 100% completion requires failing a mission so this number won't show 100% upon actual 100% completion. It's just something you have to track yourself.
Watched a longplay earlier. Quit after they skipped both the head and the Karasawa.. but picked up the radar and the missle luncher right at the beginning. Good video.

I'm currently up to the mission with Moonlight but I never had the Destroy Intruders mission for the flamethrower appear. I restarted previously to see if I missed it but it's just not popped up. Can some missions just not show up in a playthrough?
Yes, based on what missions you choose throughout the game, future missions change. Take Murakumo missions more often and see if it appears that way. Alternatively beat the game and unlock the mission select. I will warn you though, the Flame Thrower is useless in this game.
Human + is unlocked when you go -50k in debt, you have to do this like...6 times for all the upgrades. If you mean the Overweight Limit, you just have to beat all missions. The success rate % does NOT matter.

How is that on NTSC-U/C as an ~online option?
Yes. You can only obtain 1 or the other until after you defeat Nine Ball and finish the game. Doing this also locks you into a route. If you get the missiles, you have to get the Murakumo Ending, where as if you get the booster, you get the Chrome ending. Both parts are kinda crap though. Neither is much better than shop items.
Quick question: I am a first time player getting ready to start and I wanted to know if I can replay missions at all. I want to have the option to 100% the game, and I don't want to be locked out of certain parts because I can't replay missions on the same save file if I miss parts the first time. Can I replay missions after beating the game? Or restart on the same file to collect them on subsequent playthroughs?
Yes, after the game is completed, all of the missions will appear in the missions menu. This allows you to replay them. This is all reserved for post-ending though, due to how Armored Core uses a timeline mission system that has different branches and endings.

I don't know if anyone's having a similar bug but im stuck at 96% even after collecting all parts, killing both 9balls and Valkyrie and completing all the missions. Idk of there's something else im missing
The total % is not directly tracked, you likely have 96% mission completion because you failed a few. As long as you complete ALL missions, you will unlock the Over Weight Limit.
Make sure that you are using the same memory card for both games, in the emulator (if you are using emulator) and hit "Load". Any AC1 data is highlighted in Yellow.
Yeah, I really wish all AC games had this many hidden. If you wanna know which are worth it though... The Rocket Launcher (sells for a ton) The FCS (best fcs imo) Karasawa and Moonlight The radar Dual missiles any of the mission rewards are good too. though the SVVT legs are inferior to the other light legs.

Yeah it has a weird calculation system. I've been able to get 100% even failing the Wharf Wharehouse mission, so eh.

Very nice. Its kind of a shame that hidden parts in missions disappeared after the 3rd generation. Hopefully they'll make a comeback in AC6.

Better that they forget about Karasawa if you ask me. Karasawa ruins the game.
Until AC3 when they made it like super meat boy where you have to get the thing and beat the mission without dying...

SVVT are not the best Lightweight legs, the ones that Valkyrie uses are better, I forget the name, but they are much better than these hidden ones.

I didn't know that after the ending you can replay the missions.
@@gialy1 But of course. All missions unlock once you complete the last mission, so don't worry too much about 'missing' parts.

Sadly I don't know much about the Hidden Parts in Generation 2. I didn't really enjoy Gen2 as much as I do with Gen1 and Gen3.
