    This is a wonderful recipe, I made it for dinner tonight, with 2 differences I used only 3 egg yolks, and I didn’t have a way to roll it out so instead I pinched off small bits of the dough and made it into almond flour gnocchi. It was the best with a butter and bacon sauce and mozzarella cheese melted on top.

      I added hot oil with garlic and peperroni and sprinkled with parmesan…definitely it needs some taste

      @@allandoma4797 it’s the same recipe as in the video, but I only use 3 egg yolks instead of 4. If you can’t understand the ingredients in the video it’s 1/2 cup almond flour, 1 tsp xantham gum, 1/2 tsp salt and egg yolks (I use 3 they used 4) mix together dry ingredients, then add yolks and mix until it’s a thick dough. Break off small bits and form them into gnocchi shapes (make them smaller than you want finished because the will swell when cooking) you can use a gnocchi board to shape them or just roll them on the back of a fork like I do. Bring a lot of water to a boil add salt to the water. Cook the dough in the boiling water for about 3 to 4 minutes. Put whatever pasta sauce you like on em. Easy and delicious

    This is awesomely son loves pasta. We found out he has some serious congenital spine issues and he didn't want surgery, he's only 23, so his doc told him to do a strict 20g carb low carb diet. This is soooooooogreat, thank you. We're trying to get weight off the spinal cord, so far he's lost 10 in one wk

    I just watched another cloud bread recipe - and immediately thought - what can I make with the yokes! I LOVE EGGS - couldn't stand to waste either the white (well maybe) or the yoke.     I made this today and it’s good! It’s surprisingly not eggy tasting. Slight egg flavor, but not bad. I used oat fiber instead of coconut flour to knead it in the end. I think the key is pan frying it after boiling. Maybe steaming it before instead of boiling would be better. These turn out softer than normal pasta but it is very close to the real thing!

    I just made this. Very easy and they do hold up remarkably well. I made a sauce from the leftover egg whites and olive oil. Next time I will roll them out thinner. They expand a bit when boiling and are twice as filling as regular pasta. A little goes a long way. I thought this recipe would be just enough for one but if made into a dish it's plenty enough for two or more. Well done.

    These look like the best Keto pasta that I've seen on TH-cam. My Wife said she sees this in our future. She made an Alfredo the other night was to die for. Plus, she put some fried chicken in it. With these pasta noodles will make for a yummy meal.

    So I just made this. Has the taste and texture of al dente pasta. I can taste the almond flour but I can taste it in anything it's in. It doesn't always replace AP flour very well for me. It is very slight and I believe any sauce will cover it completely. Lunch is almost finished. Can't wait to add my cream sauce and seasoned chicken!

    I just got a pasta roller machine today. I'm looking forward to trying this recipe because it's the most economical. I saw another keto pasta video where the person used a pasta roller (I bought the same one) and by using the pasta roller you could probably get 2-3 times the amount of keto pasta out of this same recipe. This looks delicious, but is cut rather thick. I'll give an update when I make it using the pasta roller. Of the recipes I've seen for keto pasta this looks to be the most economical.       @@gofigure4920 I didn't have xantam gum either, I substituted with agar-agar that I did have.. And it came out fine. I did have to put in some extra almond flower. I will try to make them thinner next time. Oh and the coconut flower on the mat and on top really helped to not make it stick to the mat or the paper.

    I think the use of egg yokes rather than the whole egg is better. I've tried it and it held together really nicely. Nice enough to squeeze through one of the twisty garlic presses for really long spaghetti noodles.

    1 batch as shown = 12 g net carbs
    the taste wasn't the greatest but palatable
    it's pretty important to get it really thin (hint use pasta roller), this can elevate the taste

      I thought I should correct you on the carb count 4 egg yolks are less than 3gams 1 cup of almond flour is 5.6grams dietary fiber 3grams = net carbohydrate of 2.6grams so just for the pasta alone total carbohydrate about 5.6grams

      @@harithamenon125 I didn't make ravioli yet but I made calzone using this dough. It will not be crispy like if you make the regular pizza dough but it's also not soggy. More like in between. The taste is pretty much okay when paired with pasatta. Seasoning must be on point only then you dish will delicious!
      When working with the dough, it's pretty sticky so I ended up using almost 1/4 cup of coconut flour. If not, it'll stick on your hand.

    so far this looks like the absolute best recipe that I found it looks so much like my grandmother's egg noodles that she used to make for her homemade chicken noodle soup the only problem that I would have is that with a rolling pinyou probably could not get them rolled thin enough but that isn't even important what matters is consistency texture and taste and it looks like you've got all of those things well Incorporated so I'm not even worried about how thick my noodles are going to turn out I cannot wait to try this also I happen to love African accent I don't know why but I do

      She is correct. I do the same thing for my flan which is like a custard. It can smell a bit eggy and it works! You pass the yolks thru the strainer and it gets rid of this thin membrane that gives it that eggy smell!

      It removes the chalaze that little white part that holds the yolk in place inside egg. Julia child always strained them out of custard or souffle i do the same for scrambled eggs

      You can also use a tsp of white vinegar. It takes away the egg smell.

      Personally I like it the most out if any faux pastas. I honestly don't think regular pasta actually "tastes" good tho, it's just a cheap vehicle. With alfredo or just butter on these, it's great especially since I don't have to feel guilty :)

    Excellent recipe. I always have egg yolk left from making keto bread.
    One thing though for the viewers outside the USA, please also mention the ingredients in metric, grams, litres etc.
    I don't know which size cup I should use for the almond flour.

    Tried it earlier with an alfredo sauce, it was very soft it also fell apart when I cooked it in water overall it's not bad bad don't think I will be doing it again I think I prefer Spaghetti Squash. Thank you for sharing your recepie thougj it was interesting to try smthg new

      I use that one too. It's my go-to but I'm thinking this is cheaper per serving since pasta zero is about $2.28 per serving. It's expensive making spaghetti for my family of 4.

      @@claudiafiore2789 Hi, Claudia. I did make them! The tips from the video are pretty good. I served mine with homemade alfredo, a bit of crispy bacon, and some green onion. They are not quite as firm, or toothy, as wheat pasta, but I'm willing to make the trade for my health and 60 lb weight loss! 😅 I am not allergic to gluten so next time I want to try adding 1 tbsp of gluten to see if that makes a difference...
      Flours are so tricky on keto, but after 6 months I just don't have the strong craving anymore. Happy cooking!

    I did these your way but you are right it was too sticky.
    So i did 2 cups of almond
    2 table spoons of xantham gum
    1 table spoon of salt
    and 3 egg yolks
    and it came out perfect

      Alfredo sauce does NOT have garlic in it, but it IS a tasty addition to it. I used to make fettuccine Alfredo table-side a few decades ago!

    I tried these. Wasn't too bad. only think is they leave a slimy feeling in your mouth like boil okra. Cannot hack that. Guessin it is the xanthan gum.

    This recipe turned out well. It was easy to make and they were easy to handle. Just need to cut thin if you want it to be like spaghetti noodles. I will try using for lasagna sometime. Thank you!!

    Thank you so much for this recipe and demonstration I’ve seen other people make noodles but my goodness you were the best demonstrator ever you did it slowly you expect explained it step-by-step that I could follow and I appreciate it so much I bought all the ingredients and I plan to make some noodles very soon because I don’t like the ones in the package the yam noodles that come in the liquid they seem a little rubbery but they think this will be so much better and yes to one of your Viewers you can put this through a machine to cut the strips if you have a pasta cutter but it’s so quick and easy with a pizza roller or a sharp knife depending how much you plan to make looks fantastic thank you so much I subscribed and looking forward to seeing more of your keto recipes thank you

      I know when it comes to making mug bread, if you use almond flour it takes 4 tablespoons. If you use coconut flour you only use 1 tablespoon of coconut flour. Coconut flour has a lot more bulk to it.
