    Proper plumbers bag that Tom, mine weighs a ton but everything is there, and still got tools I bought when I started back in 1983/4 always liked looking after my stuff, can’t live without them. 👍🚽

      The old tools always seem to be the best, I brought an old bender and its better than the ones you can buy off the shelf, thanks for watching as always mate 👍

    Very similar to my bag Tom, weights a ton 😁👍 for cleaning copper pipe don't buy the strips as its expensive, try Toolstation 41259

      I normally just use steel wool to be honest, I found a load of cleaning strips in the stores I've just been using up for a while, thanks for watching as always mate

    I went from Stanley to the velocity rouge 3.0 xs and its honestly best thing I've done I've always said I wouldn't spend stupid money on a toolbag but glad I did it makes things so much easier..Great videos mate enjoy watching them

    Thanks for another great video Tom. My tool bag looks a lot like that 😂. I think the reason the small screw drivers don’t survive is because they very quickly become the “poky / stabby tool”. Also, great tip using the box spanner for rad valves, I only found that out when I could be bothered to go back down stairs, out to my van to get my rothernburger, works a treat. 👍

      Your right about the small screwdrivers mate, most of mine end up being abused, I think I figured the box spanner trick out through not being bothered to go back to the van as well, thanks for the support as always 👍

    Iv got a few different bags and boxes on the truck but I find i just load a bucket with the tools and parts for the task that I'm working on. Of course usually forget something and have to walk back lol. Nice looking setup 👍

      I'm the same mate, I sometimes just chuck a few tools in my plumb bucket but normally forget the first thing I need, thanks for watching

    Hi Tom. I have a fatmax rucksack and tote bag for soldering never really had an issue. Got bought a couple of PB bags for Christmas and when I done me gas a few years back and it’s not a gimmick at all I’d definitely recommend trying one before righting them off. They also give you a ten year warrantee. Can’t be bad hey

      I will definitely check out the velocity bags mate, the main thing that put me off was the price, from what Ive seen they look extremely well made, thanks for watching as always mate 👍

    Good working tools. Unfortunately, gas prices are going up a lot, materials like copper and solder are also going up, and soon gas heating will become unacceptable. It will be a hard winter. Greetings from sunny Bulgaria.

      I think its going to be a tough winter financially for a quite a few people mate, I just try to stay busy and try and keep my costs as low as possible for people, thanks for watching

    Nice one, Tom. I've been using Stanley FatMax back packs for the last year - so much easier to carry than my old 5 tray metal cantelever box.

    • @PlumbLikeTom
      @PlumbLikeTom  ปีที่แล้ว

      I find them easier to organise than the open tote one's, the only annoying thing with mine is one of the zips has always been tricky to do up, thanks for watching as always mate

    Thank you for that Tom, looks like you got most of the important tools there to hand. All these tool bags that cost a fortune are just a gimmick to squeeze more cash out of you. Take care mate. 👍👍

    • @PlumbLikeTom
      @PlumbLikeTom  ปีที่แล้ว

      Your right mate, you can spend a fortune on a more expensive bag but it does just the same job as the cheaper ones, thanks for watching as always mate

    Nice one Tom , that's a heavy bag to lump around , I split my tools into 3 different bags to do certain jobs just to make them lighter to carry but these days I mainly do service and repair work so the big stuff stays in the van
    Cheers.... 👍

    • @PlumbLikeTom
      @PlumbLikeTom  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      That sounds like a better idea, the problem I find is trying to keep everything organised, tools end up in the wrong box especially when working lates or weekends and then I never sort them back, thanks for watching as always mate

    Similar to my bag,but get full of junk too quick,my contents are similar with a torch 🔦 too.

    • @PlumbLikeTom
      @PlumbLikeTom  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Your right about them getting full of junk, I normally use my makita torch so carry this separately, thanks for watching as always mate

    @deanbroomfield9345 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    That must be so heavy but I bet you don’t have to go the van every 5 minutes to grab something haha.

    • @PlumbLikeTom
      @PlumbLikeTom  ปีที่แล้ว

      It is quite heavy, I see there's a trend on tiktok where plumbers are weighing their tool bags, mine would break the scales I think but i don't normally need to carry it too far

    You deleting my comments ? Just wondered which exact model tool bag ? O well.....

    • @PlumbLikeTom
      @PlumbLikeTom  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      I never delete comments mate, sometimes TH-cam deletes them for strange reasons automatically, I think its the called the Stanley fatmax open dener, thanks for watching and I'm sorry if I missed your message
