    Thanks!!! My local hobby shop gave me a leaf spring kit for the Mashigan, I think it will be easier if I remove the body....I'm sure I'm gonna need to flip it over multiple times to install the leaf kit...thanks for the info!!!!👍👍

    Thanks for the how to. I think from what you've shown this is basically the same process for the Suzuki Jimny. The wiring harness is definately the same and that was the bit i was worried about when disconnecting the body from the chassis so i appreciate the heads up.

    Thanks for the tips I got lucky and picked one up yesterday, I'm not even a jeep fan but these are amazing models, such a great body....even the movements of the suspension look amazing for having really cheap shocks....but thanks for the help 💯

      As much as I would like to see it. Neither of them could do this type of truck for the price we have here. If they did pricing would be in the $700 range for sure. Then no one would buy it.

    Excuse me, I want to ask whether the Mashigan front bumper mount with the FMS FJ40 is the same🙏🏾

      Yes. Chassis is the same.

    Did you ever figure out a nut that would work with the small screws for the top roll bars at the windshield?

    • @DixielandRC
      @DixielandRC  ปีที่แล้ว

      I didnt. I would think that a 2mm screw and bolt would be the answer though. I had a guy at an event offer me a decent amount of money for mine. So I sold it.

      @@DixielandRC I ended up using the screws that are used to hold the top down in the rear.

      @bastelhans1973 I already broke it lol

      I.used the 2 screws from the rear of the top that we took out from underneath in corners, the went through the window frame holes no problem and self taped into toll bar very nicely....put the very small ones in a zip lock till I put top back on, worked great for me...

    They never place the correct roll bar on top of that year of jeep.

      YJ's had this style of roll bar until 1991. 1992 onward have the square back roll bars. My 1:1 scale is a 93 so I plan on changing it to the other style but the slant back roll bar is accurate
