Like most Kiwis abroad you follow the Black Ferns, All Blacks and the 7's Teams. I knew "of" Hirini but didn't "know" her. The Blydes, Braziers, Fluelers, Kakas, Kings (nee nathan-Wongs) and Woodman-Wickliffe are legends, but this video has not only added Hirini's name to my collective consciousness but awaken my appreciation of the stong silent leader that walks the walk. The two best quotes from the show was were from the trainer "Greatest Player inthe World and you'd never know it", and the no higher comparison compliement, to be equaited (and rightfully so) to the GOAT, McCaw. I do not need more motivation or reason to watch the women's All Black 7's team, but I have it now. I will have my daughter with me watching the Olympics. Win or not, my daughter will watch amazing women fighting for eachother.

I was balling my eyes out when I saw her go down like that in the match. Sarah doesn't lie down. It was serious. I balled when the team did a haka fir her. And completely balling watching this. Sarah is an absolute Warrior. Her dedication to the team, the sport, the country and the fans is unmatched! If anyone deserves to be fit and on that plane to the Olympics it's her.
