Thank you for the video. The room it pretty nice. My daughter may be going for a year at UCLA from Spain but will be a Senior. Are there other seniors living in residence halls or only freshman and sophmores? Which is your favorite residence hall?
Hi Maria, thank you so much for your kind comments! It's so exciting that your daughter is coming to UCLA (: To my knowledge, UCLA only houses freshmen, sophomores, and juniors in the residence halls, but seniors could potentially live there too if they have special roles/accommodations (such as being an RA or athlete). I haven't lived in ALL the residence halls, but from the ones i lived in, Hedrick Summit is my personal favorite! I think it's the most modern and has the nicest facilities!
I don't remember being too bothered by loud parties in the dorms i lived in! For the most part, the dorms are pretty quiet, but it totally depends on who your neighbors are, haha! If you want a quieter dorm, I'd recommend going for the suite-style rooms in Sunset Village, Hedrick, Saxon/Hitch, or De Neve. Dorms like Rieber Hall and Sproul Hall are usually known to be where the parties are at ;)
hi! getting this room was actually not competitive at all! I actually missed my original RSU time, and got this room on the make-up day 😅so definitely a lot available!
i believe ucla is requiring all students to be vaccinated before coming to campus this fall! and i think they are letting students have roommates in the dorms, but i'm not sure how many. hope this helps! (:
ucla guarantees housing for students for 3 yrs! and u won't be needing a car since dorms are very close to campus (: unfortunately ucla doesn't offer dorms for 4th yr students :( hope that helped!
This is such a nice dorm room! :D
TYTY melanieee! pls come visit me next year :3

I was starting to think that UCLA only had triple rooms because that’s all I’ve been seeing. Glad to know they have singles.
How loud are the dorms here in UCLA in terms of loud drunken parties or if they happen often in the dorms?
