Apple cider vinegar has been used for centuries as a hair care remedy to promote a healthy scalp and rebalance the pH level of the hair. Since apple cider vinegar has a low pH it is able to rebalance dull, frizzy and damaged hair that has been made brittle from chemical treatments. OGX also make an apple cider vinegar rinse for natural hair to reduce dandruff.

Apple cider vinegar is especially good for curly hair since it helps to define the hair's natural curl and wave pattern. I found that the shampoo didn't do this especially well, but you may get better results from an ACV rinse.
I found I had much better results with the L'Oreal Hydra Hyaluronic Acid range. It left my curly hair really bouncy and defined. I have a separate video about this which can be viewed here:

In this video I also talk about other apple cider vinegar shampoos such as the Aveeno apple cider vinegar shampoo and the Avalon Organics apple cider vinegar shampoo.
The Aveeno scalp soothing apple cider vinegar blend shampoo contains oatmeal to help soothe an itchy scalp. The Avalon Organics apple cider vinegar shampoo contains nettle and Argan oil which helps with hair growth and moisture. If you are interested in alternative medicine or holistic medicine, I plan on doing more videos in the future about how you can use natural ingredients like apple cider vinegar to improve your hair and skin.
A few things that actually helped to control my hair fall include: (1) I discontinued wearing ponytails because it leds to tension breakage. (2) I started massaging my hair and scalp twice a week with liitleextra cocoonnion hair oil while bending over & holding my head inverted to allow blood flow to the scalp. (3) Protecting my head while moving out to shield my hair from dust and pollution. (4) Using gentle shampoo again from liittleextra only to wash my hair.

Thanks for your comment. Yes you can use the OGX Apple Cider Vinegar shampoo every day. I personally prefer it to the Aveeno shampoo although both left my hair clean and shiny. If you decide to try it let me know how you get on! 🙂

Hard water ruined my hair but I dont go for hair dye and hair styling products canbi use it?
I think there is silicone in it , I feel weard and counfused because it's cover the hair and the scalp with a shiny Slippy coat

Is it suilable for low porosity hair?
Can we use the shampoo after applying coconut hair oil ? Will it rinse the oil properly ??
Yes it’s a good clarifying shampoo for removing coconut oil! I would also use the Apple cider vinegar rinse after the shampoo as well to make sure all the oil is removed.
@@ukbeautyroom ma'am I've pcod and I'm currently facing way too much hair losss and my scalp is very greasy so i hope it just helps .. I'm from India and here the weather is very humid so i hope this shampoo is good for me
@@sayanisaha9403 I think this shampoo is a great option if you have greasy hair. Also the OGX Tree Mint shampoo is good if you have hair loss as it contains peppermint oil which has been shown to stimulate growth.
