    So glad that I found this video. My used 1250GSA came with a pair of these, but they weren't fitted to the bike.
    Try as I might, I couldn't figure out where they went.
    Thanks ever so much!

    The number of farkles available for a GS never ceases to amaze.
    My only hesitation to add numerous storage spaces is I can't recall where I put what. Sometimes I forget whether something is in the left or right pannier...

      I have that problem as well but these little bags are just great for the small, easily misplaced items that get lost in the myriad of pockets that pants and jackets seem to have. Thanks for watching the video 👍

    They would fit a pair of sunglasses in (or just normal glasses!). I have seen the Wunderlich version and see you can get the Ebay copies too now.

    Hmm wonder if a EZ pass transponder would work in there?

    Got these after watching this video, planning to utilize them for the spare heated glove batteries. I have the ones from Wunderlich.

      They’re great for small stuff that’s easily misplaced as well as being made to a high standard. Thanks for watching the video.

    what kind of screen protector do you suggest? so it is anti-glare :D

    • @TheMotorradRider
      @TheMotorradRider  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      When I had my paint protection film applied, part of the package was the anti-reflective film for the TFT and that is what I’m still using. I also fitted a Wunderlich cockpit shroud which surrounds the TFT and that helps with overhead sun. The BMW Nav VI has an inbuilt polarising filter and have found no need to add or change anything on it as reflection problems are very rare.
      Hope this helps and thanks for asking your questions.

    First time I have seen a decent photo/video of those bags. Looks like I will have to get a pair. Thanks.
    Question: I'm having difficulty finding "clear" winglets for a r1200gs (not gsa). Do you have a source for clear winglets for the r1200gs?

    • @TheMotorradRider
      @TheMotorradRider  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      In short....no I don’t. I have had a bit of search and they are like the Loch Ness Monster, extremely elusive or don’t exist. The only suggestion I could make would be construct a paper template of what you want and engage the services of an acrylic or polycarbonate supplier to fabricate them to your design. Fixing them to the bike would then be the remaining problem. Here is a link that may help if you go down that path: advrider.com/f/threads/r1200gslc-cockpit-fairing-extensions.1268885/#post-33725967
      I hope you can sort something out and thanks for watching the video and taking the time to comment.

      @@TheMotorradRider As much as I would like a pair of the winglets for my GS, there is no way I would go to that much trouble. Thanks for the suggestion though. I see that Wunderlich has some, but they appear only to be available in the UK. In addition, they appear to require drilling, which I simply am not going to do to my bike. Found some knockoffs on eBay too but the same story with drilling. I guess it will simply be an accessory I never use.

    • @TheMotorradRider
      @TheMotorradRider  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Totally with you on the no drilling of the bike. There are no and there will be no, holes made in my bike neither is there a single cut wire on the electrical loom. Everything that goes on is designed to fit without modification to the bike. Good luck with your search for the winglets and above all, stay safe.

      @@TheMotorradRiderThe answer is yes. After spending way too much time looking I found some winglets for my r1200gs at Wunderlich, or more specifically here WunderlichUSA. Not cheap, but I went ahead anyway. No drilling. Well designed, although I wish the engineers would put more thought into their installation instructions. But they are finally on. I wont be able to determine if they were worth it for a few months as it pretty dang cold here in the Midwest of USA. www.wunderlichamerica.com/BMW_R1200_GS_Side_Wind_Deflector_Set_Clear

      Pleased you managed to track the winglets down and for including the link. Wunderlich makes some really good equipment so you should be happy with your purchase. Let us know how they go when you can get out for a ride. Stay safe.
