Spanian, I’m going through the worst time of my life after losing my sister 4 months ago, unexpectedly… Your videos are making my mind switch off for a small amount of time. I’m super depressed atm and you help in a small but simple way.
Phnom Penh is such an amazing city and the people are lovely. Your approach to money is spot on - $2 is nothing for most tourists so why haggle over a few dollars when you know how much it means to them? Amazing video. 👏🏽👌🏽
It's actually a big problem as it jacks up prices for everyone and the new prices becomes the norm; economies work best when they are left as natural as possible without intervention, if you keep artificially support them, more stores will spring up and the competition will become greater as well. Always keep in mind that you're not a walking charity, if they depend so much on a few overpaying tourists it's not a sustainable business and they must change their ways. It's also a big problem for those tourists that do not have extra money.
There's moments in these vids where it's glaringly obvious you aren't taking these opportunity's for granted and the stoke is sleeping out of your pores. Im aiming for that kinda happiness.
Do you know the man personally, do you know this life?. I didn't think so, he has worked harder than you could ever imagine. And lived & survived the things you could only read about🤭, that's why you're here, reading & watching😂!!. What you find fascinating, we call just walking down the street🤣!. Never worked a day aye, men like Spanian are the day😂!!.

That's what you call fully qualified life🤣!. Also the barber, fully qualified haircuts😂. And all that was just in between training 😂.
10:24 that little girl works very hard. I was in Cambodia, extremely sick last year. She came to me at a restaurant on a street about 15 minutes walk from where you were wanting to sell a book, I explained I was too sick to read and asked her to come back the next day. She did not push me to buy, she came back the next day and sold the book to me. The little girl is her sister, her mother moves around with her selling as well. They seem to be good, genuine people unlike many of the young children on the streets in Phnom Penh now. I am glad you bought from her, she deserves kindness.
Man I just realized now that you’re not just the best professional traveler. I randomly came across a video the other day and thought, this guy should have more videos of him traveling, he would be famous, then found the main channel and saw you’re already famous. Great stuff keep it up. I would watch 100 of these back to back.
I absolutely love South East Asia. All those countries are pretty well a similar sort of vibe but with their own subtle differences. Love how you tip the change and gave those kids heaps extra cash....exactly what I do. Amazing people everywhere.
Lots of these kids are beat if they don't meet the daily targets set, so it's nice that you help them, but kinda bad that you're help supporting the horrible people that put those kids out there. Not all of them are in this situation but I recommend reading Yoddecha Sityodtong's story, he was trafficked into selling stuff as a kid too.
The way Cambodian people appreciate life is something amazing. It makes you feel good as the collective is overall so positive. What a great city Phnom Penh is!
I'm not sure how I stumble across Channels like this but I love to see how people live in other Countries so what makes the Vlogs really good are people like you Spanian and China Mac from the US. Everyday people just like me that have been through some crazy life moment's and made it out the other side. We're not young now and we have alot more respect for life. My sister in Law (ex) lives in Sydney where after she moved from here in London UK in the 90s has raised two great son's at some point it would be great to visit so you showing me around is perfect. No stupid holiday brochures that want to sell me everything that I'm not looking for I want to see the Real, Raw Places and People.
My buddies and myself just found your Vlogs while in Thailand and great stuff! We said we’re going to start playing a drinking game watching your videos and every time you say Hectic we have to take a drink! 🥃
Hey mate, first class walk around as always. If you haven't learned the art of crossing, it is keep the eyes in front and walk the same constant pace, not slow and not running and most definately not start-stop. safe travels!
Mate absolutely loving your videos. Really grateful for your time and effort. We're looking at coming to Cambodia this year and I love your attitude. I agree - WGAF if they rip you off $2 - get over it - enjoy everything for what it is. Go hard mate - stay safe and live large 🙏👍👍
My pal came to visit me when i was working in cambodia, first night in a hostel he got drunk and lost his phone, the next morning he went to front desk and one of the cleaners had found it and handed it in. The phone was probably worth about 6 months rent for the cleaner. They have been through so much and they are such good people. My favourite country by far
My brother loves Cambodia, and travels there, from Australia, every year. He has made so many friends there, that he no longer books a hotel, he stays with born and bred Cambodians. He also gets his dental care there, because is really cheap. He said the hospital he went to for dental care, was so clean, they make everyone wear disposable booties, that’s how clean and fussy they are. He usually helps native Cambodians pay for their medical needs, in exchange for their hospitality of letting him stay in their homes. He says they are very kind and loving people, cooking for him and making him feel really welcome. Since the exchange rate is so good, it really doesn’t cost much to make a huge difference to someone’s life, by helping them with their medical expenses.
I had a awesome time at the riverside. Went to the International Casino along there before it burnt down. I piloted one of those boats a up the Mekong to a little island and worked in a Silk factory well it was more of a shed lol. At the 33.30 mark of the video you can see a large building on the over side of the river with all the lights on the roof. It's Cambodia's biggest motel. It's where rich and famous from Hollywood stay. We got told Angelina Jolie stayed there when went to Cambodia to adopt her son Maddox.
I'm aussie. Lived here for 5 years. Thought you were doing a good job until you said they do Muay Thai here, bro that's how you get rolled haha. They do Kun Khmer and Bokator here. Bokator is hectic. Also the guy blowing you kisses was pointing at you. Cambodians point with there lips. Looking forward to the rest of the series!

Mate ! I am a fellow christian, I found the lord later in my life and I have been clean for 20 years. I was always like you, I don’t care much for the girl bar scene, but the woman in Asia out side the prostitution, are old school and look after their man. Anyway I get a kick out of your videos. God bless brother , keep up the good work.
I spent a lot of time there 20 years ago. I loved the floating motels and had a great time at some of the cafes, bars, restaurant and one really good club. It looks like there's a lot more going on now than there was 20 year ago. The people are great. I wish I was there.
Awsome !! Thank you for visiting cambodia, and I hope cambodia do u justice , wen people actually do research about cambodia history then they will understand the reason cambodia is like that, once again thank you for show casing cambodia , as a cambodian/Australian
