Bro haggling is apart of the culture there, I've been to cambodia and all over SE Asia, everyone does it, as long as you treat them with respect and are generous with tips it's fine.

I think more rich people should go to Cambodia and poorer parts of the world and help the poor people and tip like they tip their rich friends... someone like christiano ronaldo could help every single person in that country and he wouldn't even notice the change fall out his pocket. think about it he earns 200 million € per year from his al nassr contract then he also has a life contract with nike worth 1 billion dollars plus all his other deals, just to kick a soccer ball. don't get me wrong I'm not mocking Christiano Ronaldo I say good on him for being as good as he is. but at the same time do i think that footballers etc earn way to much compared to a labourer or someone who actually does something to benefit people like build houses or have a street food stand etc, who work hard all day for barely anything and they find it hard to afford to feed themselves each day and are doing it really hard. it makes a lot of sense doesn't it... the inbalance of wealth is just ridiculous.

I’ve had this mind set for some time now and I swear, you gain so much more happiness out of supporting those who need it most, rather than when you spend big out at a fancy restaurant or whatever. I often overpay when I’m in a lower socioeconomic country, because they are so incredibly grateful for the support! Melts my heart. If you’re blessed enough to travel, you should always have this mindset.
