You rock, great coverage, and I second what Zorcycle says, normally Bloom is an escape from the rain on the west side so everyone heads over Stevens Pass to Wenatchee or drops down from BC (me) to enjoy the sunny weather and great locals cheering us on. I have done Bloom three times now but passed the last few due to work and lack of training. And yes i race cro-moly but in the geezers M55 field, well actually I am just lucky enough to even be there. Ace really amped it up this year, and though I miss the race that weather was something I didn't. Waterville is by far the hardest stage for me, looks flat but is anything but,
Thanks so much for watching. I’ll for sure be back to give it another go (hopefully with less sky water) 😉 and hopefully with better lungs on the day 🫁
16:30 oh I've done that other the cat fours... I didn't want to go by myself, I didn't have any teammates in the break, so I'm just like okay I'm going to spoil everybody's fun, I get on the front I up the pace just a bit and I drag the whole pack to the break, the brake wasn't that far away anyways 😀.
Do that enough times and ruin your own race dropping watt bombs chasing teams around and you’ll get sick of doing the work for the teams that are represented. Of course in the 4s that’s the common theme. It’s why breaks stick in the Pro Race but mysteriously they don’t in CAT 3/4 races etc.
It’s not a bike racing podcast at all. There are like 500 of those out there already. We talk to professional athletes (yes, some cyclists) about life and sport, navigating all that. Getting to the root of why they do what they do and what makes them unique.

Thanks for making the trip to race up in WA! It's usually really warm this time of year, I swear! Haha
Hahah so everyone says! Next year we’ll bring some San Diego weather with us 🤘🏼
Will the crit bets site be live by then?
@@zorcycle hahah it’s live but I need to figure out how to make it… legal 👀
