    I can pretty much fit most of that into my kings drawer but your set-up is much neater and lighter!

    Kmart have or did have plates that have a good size lip. The lip makes it so they can also be used as a bowl. That fold up kettle is also good. I’ve got one and it’s served me well.

    Good timing Mick! I just pulled all my draws and kitchen setup out of my 4WD today. It was taking up too much room for something that rarely gets used. I want a setup that I can just throw in when needed. I like what you've done 👍👍

    I love small compact kitchens. Upgrades fry pan with removeable or folding handles. (Ex.T-fal Ingenio or GSI pinnacle). Nest plates inside like you do. Then pot(s) with removeable handle and nest bowls inside plus hot pads, wash cloths, dish soap etc… Add in some smaller Nalgene bottles for less used oils, vinegars. We went minimal with flat sporks in one pocket so other pockets hold knives, spatula, tongs, spoon - an all-in-one utensil holder like yours. (Ex. Stainless steel spoon on one side, fork in the other like Tapirus stack very flat).
    Cheers!

    • @SMafam5
      @SMafam5 8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Nesting pots with removeable handles (that are everyday home quality & don’t burn food) are t-fal Ingenio - either non-stick or SS and also magma which are pricier.
      Local sets that get good reviews are uniflame (drifta).

    • @SMafam5
      @SMafam5 8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Add in a Sea to Summit collapsible sink (& bucket) and all you need is water. I store toilet paper with bucket/pine pellets (typical or collapsible depending on if we camp with trailer).
      Those round acrylic kitchen storage containers with sealed lids that buckle closed make great tp holders that keep it clean & dry.

      absolutly mate that's sounds great.
      I've since stop using this as I now have a fridge kitchen and pantry permanently in my aluminium canopy. for camping.

    might be better with the screw heads up on the cutting board, rather than the bolts.

      @livin4adventure_aus584  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      i used lock nuts so if the board gets dirty over time i can just replace it as it was a cheapie from bunnings.
      oh yeah i guess its just personal preference but yeah cool cool

      it was in the hinge section.

    • @Ranger_Troy
      @Ranger_Troy 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thanks mate I thought so . I went there they come in 30.5cm or 61cm. So the 30.5cm I thought definitely to short. I got the 61cm and a visit to 4wd Supercenter. I got the Box and Pinic Set. They were both on sale.

  • @Ranger_Troy
    @Ranger_Troy 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    Because on the computer you show the pinic 37 piece set. It shows the knife and fork section separate. But when i bought the pinic set the knife and fork holder is sewn to the top of the bag the picnic ste comes in?

    • @livin4adventure_aus584
      @livin4adventure_aus584  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@Ranger_Troy yeah that could work mate.
      funny enough I just used the blue kings knife and it snapped in half.
      would probably just get a proper cheap set from kmart.

    • @Ranger_Troy
      @Ranger_Troy 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Wow! They just don't make knives like they use to.
      So far I cut the front of the box,to make the shelf. Attached the Chains on the shelf. Made the Shelf in the Box to sit the Gas cooker on. Today I was going to Attach the the Cutlery Bag . But back to the drawing board on that one. Lol. And Sercure the piece of wood holding up the shelf in the box.
