MJ correcting a bit compared to Last Dance. He's the Goat of all sports, and even more, but in those 96 Finals Payton gave him the toughest time of all his Finals journeys......indeed MJ had only 27 ppg
And I’d say you’re wrong. He didn’t give MJ “the works”. Did you even see that Finals or just highlights because you weren’t even born at the time? You youngsters should stick to today’s basketball.
@@jessb8585 lol I did see the finals and I lived through the Jordan era and might even be older than you. I’m comparing GPs defence to others MJ has faced. 96 was MJs lowest performance finals out of the 6 chips. But relax I’m a big MJ guy and he’s the goat
@@wifilostconnection5992 LMAO this is blatantly false you can easily look it up. Jordan averaged 31 points on 46% shooting during the first three games (Chicago went up 3-0). In Game 4 Seattle switched on Jordan and finally made Payton guard him. George Karl didn't want Payton guarding Mike at first because he thought it would tire GP out offensively. The next three games Jordan averaged 23 on 36% shooting and the Sonics went 2-1 to make it a series. And for the record, I'm a Bulls fan. It was three teams that prevented him from winning anything in the 80's... the Boston Celtics, the Detroit Pistons and out West the Los Angeles Lakers.
@@konte641 no I'm the kinda person who thinks rings are more of a team accomplishment and less important when ranking individuals.
