USCIS K1 Visa Processing Times 2024 | New Wait Times for the I-129F | UPDATED April 2024

- The processing time for the K1 Visa is getting faster and USCIS are processing I-129F petitions quicker and quicker!!
I reached out to TRACKMYVISANOW... and asked if they would be happy to share their data with me so that I could let you know what your expected date to hear back from USCIS might be! I’m so happy to be able to share this with you and share when you could potentially hear back by and receive your NOA2 from USCIS!
I’m not in any way associated with this website, but I discovered it recently while my fiancé and I patiently waited for our NOA2 - so I thought it would be worth sharing to anyone in the same situation as us and to anyone who was wondering how long it’ll take USCIS to process your I-129F application.
All the data provided to us are estimates based on the current processing times of April 2024. As a reminder, USCIS will be increasing their fees for the I-129F K1 Fiancé Visa from April 1st 2024!
Note: I am not an immigration lawyer nor associated with USCIS. All the information provided are our personal tips based on our own journey for the K1 Visa Process.

Quick question... on the site it says we should hear something between June 26th - August 1st but we're not sure what that means. Is that when we'll be receiving NOA 2 or what exactly will we be notified of? Thank you!

@S.Y_K1VisaJourney Hi, My NOA1 is March 6 2024. I have been tracking my case status through Track My Visa Now website. Today, it says: USCIS has temporarily skipped cases filed between February 23 and March 6, 2024. I'm so sad and don't know what to do. 😭😭

USCIS approved my I-129F, just only 3.5 months. I applied in mid- January 2024 and received approval on April 30, 2024. I can’t believe it the processing time frame is super fast than my anticipation. Thank you for your videos

We just submitted our application this week. Our attorney estimated 10-12 months, but said USCIS usually over-estimates times so hopefully we will be lucky like you. After the interview how long did it take to receive your visa?

My case was received by USCIS on February 05, 2024 and yesterday, May 8, I was approved, I am very happy, thank you very much for your wonderful video, your video helped me a lot to have hope and I also used the app and it helped me, also thank you for your content.😁

Mine is approved too. Now transferred to NVC. How many time NVC will take for this process?

Some people are mistakes NOA1 for approval.
Just received a text with our receipt number and instantly signed up for Track My Visa. It indicates that we should hear something within the next 1.5ish months. That is incredible! I am so excited I haven't told my fiancé yet.

The beneficiary doesn't need to provide any proof of assets as the form is more so that the petitioner can financially support the beneficiary
@@S.Y_K1VisaJourney Hmm, what if I, as the beneficiary, have sources of income and assets other than my current employment (such as an apartment I rent out) , how can we declare this?
There is a section on the form that allows you to list the beneficiary's assets. It's on page 4

I submitted my K-1 visa application for my girlfriend in the Philippines on September 18, 2023. Her application got approved but USCIS on March 22, 2024! Yes, Track My Visa was worth the monthly fee I paid _for those months I was waiting for her approval!
Watching your videos have helped me build my petition and was much easier since I watch the video. I just sent my petition hopefully hear back by the end of this year.

Don't give up hope! Some cases just take longer than others. We watched others get approved before us too... but then we were finally approved ! :)
Our NOA1 was received on December 11th, 2023. I actually have the pro version of TMVN, and it says we’re supposed to hear back by April 11th-May 16th 🤞we’re just trying to prepare ourselves for what’s next!

Got my noa2 52 days from from noa1 Indonesia. Took about a month to go through nvc and 2 weeks to become ready and first available interview was 3 weeks out.

I recently purchased the pro version of Track My Visa now because of this video and it is giving much different estimates compared to the 13.5 month prediction on USCIS's official website. It makes me wonder where and how Track My Visa Now is able to get such precise data. I really hope it is accurate and not giving false hope. I filed the I-29F with an immigration lawyer and they were giving me estimates of up to over a year, whereas this service is telling me to expect to hear back within the next 30 days!. I am very optimistic about my fiancé and our I-29F case and hope that the Track My Visa Now data proves them wrong!
Track my visa now is the most accurate as it uses real time data.
When did you apply for k1?
@@myownflow9887 My case was received January 12, 2024, but I applied mid December 2023. Today the tracker told me I have reached the front of the line.

I can confidently say that the Track My Visa now system is 100% worth the Pro subscription and it was extremely accurate. I was so pleased with the experience and I loved how it emailed me with updates, letting me know I was approved.

You can still submit an inquiry for your NVC case number. Then you can track your case online to know when it's READY. Don't worry - I've heard a lot of people don't even receive a letter.

I am being told the basic wait time is 2 years, but I'm seeing a lot of comments saying that it's only a few months. My partner is coming from the uk, and we submitted our application a few days ago. I'm just so scared it's going to take 2 years!

How long does it take to receive notice that the USCIS received your K-1 Packet, it shows on my end that USPS delivered to the P.O. box our K-1 Packet on March 23rd, 2024 but we have yet to receive any feedback from USCIS via text saying they have picked up our document when we included the document to receive texts in our Packet.

Thank you for watching!! It normally takes a week to 3 weeks. Another way to see if they've received it is to check your bank account and see if the $535 has been deducted
@@S.Y_K1VisaJourney we paid through money order so no way to check that way, wanted to make sure the funds would definitely be there when they went to get the money so money order assured that lol

Just out of curiosity… why are current applicants having a longer waiting period (9 to 10 months) vs new applicants (4 to 6 months)?
It's due to the backlog. But as USCIS are processing cases faster... those who apply now, should have less of a wait time
Question: Is it legal for the beneficiary to work in the United States during those 90 days?
The beneficiary can only work in the USA with either employment authorization or with a green card

Sept 27 noa 1 but those who filed late like oct nov 2023 they already received their noa 2 so UNFAIR
I know! There is no order to the processing. A lot of months were processed before ours even though we filed ours before them. But you will hear back so don't give up hope!
Ok..I can see that I will be receiving a letter in the mail today from the USCIS. I'm DYING right now..lol Could this be NOA 2? It's only one page. I didn't receive a text notification so I'm not sure what to think. I'm sick! If they were going to reject us, would they have done that in the beginning? We are at day 105.

I think it is perfectly normal. We submitted I-129F on October 2, 2022 and we were approved only on January 4, 2024. That is 15 months, so be patient.

Within a week you should receive your NOA1 - notice of action 1 by mail. Then you can track your case with your receipt number beginning with WAC. I'm sure you'll receive another notice of action (NOA2) within 4-6 months saying you've been approved.

And it says to follow a Receipt Notice (Form I-797C) in mail?… Im a little worried bcuz Im going to be out of the country to meet my fiance next month? How long does this form will be sent to me? You'll get an email if you filled out the G-1145 form. If not, you'll receive all communication via mail to your home address. The NOA1 normally takes between a week to 3 weeks to receive approximately. You could always check your bank account to see if the payment has been deducted. Hope that helps :)
We received our noa 1 for k1 visa, ive seen a lot of October filers received their noa2. I dont know why they do the october first and left the sept 2023 unfinished

You may potentially be able to expedite your case. There are specific instructions on the USCIS website... however sometimes they may not deem it to be expedited... but it's worth a try!

You shouldn't worry. The timeline was just an estimate. We heard back way past our estimate :)

You can try to expedite due to military. The wait time is approx 6-7months

Have you checked your bank account to see if any money was taken out from USCIS? You can always reach out to them and say you haven't received your NOA1 yet

I filed I-129F application last year, march 6, 2023. Got NOA1 in April 4th, 2023 and NOA2 in February 14, 2024. It's nearly 11 months got an approved from USCIS. It's now being transferred to USCIS in Asia. NVC said it takes several weeks to hear from USCIS in Asia. It's been 3 weeks I have not heard from them. And I am sitting here waiting for the welcome letter every single day.... before moving further...Should I contact them to inquire about my case? Please advise, thank you😊

Hi! 👋🏼 Yes you can definitely file your I-129f now. As long as your petitioner has their own proof of US citizenship such as a passport or birth certificate then that's all you need at this stage. You don't need your birth certificate right now, so you have time to request a new original. I hope that helps :)

I guess I'm confused in the process and timeline. Is the USCIS just phase 1 and you have more continued waiting? How long is timeline after NOA2? Are we still looking at total timelines of over 12 months before an immigrant fiancé can come to US?
After NOA2 things normally take between a month or 2. It's super quick after you have the NOA2
