Well done to a fantastic idea with the new rod holdall. As when i put my rods in the car i put a large fishing sock over the end of the tripod and rods nice one. 👍
Well done to Julian for taking sea angling luggage seriously and not just producing something generic,we deserve as good as the carp anglers.Looking at the heavy duty padded shoulder strap in this video it would be great if Julian could produce a decent high end rucksack conversion for the seatboxes as the Breakaway version is really lacking;no padding,frame digs in,straps cut across your neck,no waist belt or chest strap,box leans too far back,straps twist etc etc,just a thought.
Julian is a top lad. Honest as they come. What he says about helping after you purchased a AFAW gear even out of warranty he will always do his best. I know this first hand. I just happen to be in the market for a new holdall. I have a leeda one. Most of my rod bags only last a year or so. They always go aat the base as my Mti roadstand pierces the bottom. Also the stitching from the strap goes. 100 is a lot. It's about 120% more than my current one but I know it will be quality. I have had both generations of tourney match pros and both are great. Partucurly the mk2s
It's an awesome bit of kit that has been designed and works.. I can destroy the "too expensive" comments in 3 words - zziplex rod bags 😂 As mentioned, when you're carrying a grand+ worth of rods you want the best logistical protection you can get. Well done afaw, another fine product 👌
nice to see the old anyfish anywhere carry system for the seat box guessing its a new designed one my old one has had a few repairs will superglue but still goes strong lol
I'd love 1 to pair with my AWAF rods but the price is just to steep considering VMO's own holdall even paired with the separate hood is half the price and even the century version is 30 to 40 quid cheaper
ive had a vmo 8ft bag for years, ever since i bought a rod with an 8ft tip lol, i only put 3 rods in it, ive always had the beach buddy, rod rest and light stand, strapped together and on my shoulder, not good for going down cliff's as i have my lamp in my spare hand
I have a Sonic quiver holdall and can fit everything in it including an IG shelter but that puts the stitching to the test. Spot on about the tripod hook, they scratch all so i secure with a rubber band. I like the Sonic because you can rinse off the mud but it's uncomfortable yet a third of the price. If the AFAW lasts twice as long, doesn't stick to mud and is super comfortable for long hikes fair enough.

I recently looked at the Carp rod hold-all/carry bags. They are ahead of the game for us Sea-Anglers.
