Sorry to state the obvious you used a jet wash, I'm sure most where expecting a waterless product strayed directly onto the car and cleaned, without the aid of water.

This is more of a rinse…less wash.
I would only every do a fully rinse less wash if I had just cleaned a car, driven to a car show, then needed to give it a ‘quick wipe down’ 👍🏼

Love the DIY Rinseless ❤ Also tried Armour Detail Supply Hero yesterday which was excellent too

Nice one. Good to see RW gaining some traction over here. I'll definitely be giving the mitt a go.
Top tip. Infinity Wax Zero Water in 5l is about £25 for trade (IW commented this on another video). DIY is way more expensive. So i use 7l IW for the wash bucket and use DIY to spray on the vehicle as its a much much better cleaner. IW at 16:1 is also pretty much the cheapest drying aid going. Its a winning combo.

I have a trade account with them, so might give it a try. I haven’t heard anything about it though. I’ve used ONR, but think it was an older version.
Same here; I’ll never be using the red sponge

Nice job Nick, when you are finished with the rinseless wash can you use it again or do you have to throw a away

Hi Nick, just wondering what pump sprayer you use on your normal pre wash stage. It has a really nice spray to it. Cheers :)

      Hey, it’s a Spear & Jackson pump sprayer 👍🏼

I see in a lot of DIY Detail videos, Yvan talks alot about how this product stops water spot, due to them being encapsulated by the product. Have you ever had issues with water spots when using this, or could you do a test for us, see if it does leave marks when left on the paint to dry.

It’s brilliant for washing in summer for this reason.
The water around me is relatively soft at 70PPM compared to London 350-400ppm, but definitely helps 👍🏼
It does leave what looks like water marks if you leave it, but spraying it with the filled bottle and drying it removes it with ease

@@HarpersCarDetailing The water in Surrey where im from is awful. I have a Spotless Water near me so have a 200L water butt I top up for most the wash, everything expect the wheels really. Just a bit of a ball ache having to refill it when a cap full of this could be a game changer.

@RossT551 but one of the water vessels that remove the minerals. They are under £100 and work great 👍🏼

Very intresting! As an amateur I would be nervous to scratch the car. Is it necessary that the car is ceramic coated?

No not at all. This car wasn’t coated.

Few questions for you to pick you're brains, if I may. I did my first ever rinseless wash a few weeks ago and seemed fine:
    - you used quite a small amount of water whereas I filled the whole 10L up. Is only half required? I filled right up thinking I'd pick up less dirty water when I dunk the mitt.
    - a bunch of the American channels use rinseless for quite dirty cars whereas I picked up you mentioning that you wouldn't. I don't understand the mismatch between the two. One says it's safe even on dirty cars whereas you'd avoid that. Can you explain a bit your thinking on that and why you don't follow their recommendation? Will it scratch?
    - I used a pump sprayer to spray over the whole car and then used a mitt to wash over. Would you do that process too or always spray off with a pressure washer first?
    - finally, I'm sure you've seen these dedicated rinseless sponges with cuts in them. I just wanted to know your thoughts on them...as they are quite expensive for us over here! Over hyped?
Thanks, look forward to the next upload.

      I used 10l as I filled half a 20l bucket,
I have done around 5l on my own van, but you run the risk of dirtier the water quicker.
      - I personally won’t be getting the sponge. I’m sure it works, but seems a bit of a gimmick. It’s still a flat sponge compared to a textured wash mitt, so you run the risk of the dirt sitting on the face of the sponge.
      - again I wouldn’t use it on to dirty a car. Yes it will clean it, but at a risk of marring the paint. I can guarantee that if I paint correct a car and use this technique only without the initial rinse it would definitely mark the paint. Yes it would still look shiny and clean, but you would introduce fine scratches again.

@@HarpersCarDetailing Thanks for your thoughts on it. I find it quite weird that none of the main American channels admit about the potential for scratches, they all say its completely fine and safe. If that's not the case then I don't think they should be mis-selling what it can do to the public! I bought what I have because of those claims so that doesn't sit right with me.
I'll take your recommendation about not getting the sponge, I'll stick to something like a microfibre or chenille wash pad. The sponge was also something that didn't make sense to me, the videos I've seen show the dirt on the surface not in the grooves, so again, not convinced by their claims!
Whats coming next upload wise for the channel?
      Thanks, have a good Sunday.

Hi mate, i think you've got your dilution wrong. 7L or 7000ml at 256 or lets say 250 to 1 is approx 28ml or one ounce

Not sure what happened here. The instruction were correct but the end sum wasn’t.
1oz per 2 gallon (us) so 30ml ish to 7ish litres
