Cheers Gus - ahh the clouds, even when I try and judge the weather they have been around last few hill climbs...it is a great wee hill and with views would be amazing. Thanks Again, Dave. 👍
Looks like a great hike and one I'd like to do some time. You got some cracking views on the way up but a pity about the clag on the summit. That's mountain for you.
Cheers Bud - you wouldn't be disappointed with Mull...especially if you get the weather, so many other things to see and do and the beaches are outstanding too. Cloud cover is apparently unusually bad on that hill being the largest on Mull, comes with the territory I suppose. 😀👌
Cheers Jamie - weather was amazing (tropical just about) for 5 days out of 6 and the only cloud was at the top of the hill! ☹I have an alternative if weather is against us on 17th - will ping you a route tomorrow. Dave.
Sausages! I need to see if Paddy would like them! Never thought of them for a summit treat. Looks like a great wee camp spot Dave. I take it it's fine to camp there? Looked like the prime spot for that Munro. Looks like a nice straightforward Abi and Paddy friendly walk with some care at the top..pity about the cloud but you got some nice drone shots on the way up. I haven't been to Mull and would like to spend a few days there, probably next year now. Fabby doo...Paul
Hey Paul, It's a perfect getaway for you, Abi and Paddy. The old cocktail sausages, Amber loves them but she only gets them on a hill (greedy beggar she is) I end up snacking on them too and Amber does not look happy. 😄 Re Tents - you get a warning when booking ferry that there is "limited pitches and high demand and camping without consent is not permitted" or words to that effect but there is no "No Overnight Parking" or any other signs in place along that 3 or 4 mile stretch of Loch Na Keal...seen a few vans, motorhomes and cars on that stretch, there must be a dozen or more tennis court sized spots along there and mostly empty or with only a van or two in...overall very quiet. It's a very straightforward hill one of the easiest I've done (but if you got the views to the other islands and the Paps it would be amazing for very little effort) only other caveat is there are sheep everywhere just roaming the roads and lower slopes, Amber is nearly 6 now and doesn't bother with them too much. Second time on Mull and I would go back in a heartbeat - we ended up staying 6 nights instead of 3 but moved to a semi wild spot at Uisken Bay £5 per adult per night - no facils except drinking water but cheap and you know you won't get moved on...vid of that (with some half smeeked Uke playing 😄) and whistlestop trip to Iona still to edit...Grrrrr Cheers 🏝👍
Thanks Brian - I appreciate that mate, still fumbling about when it comes to filming but if you take enough footage then you get more of a chance of a decent few clips here and there and the location helps as seen in your latest videos they are on the money. I know you are more of a high Hillsman and I am more of a Hills & Lochans dude but we are all part of the same tribe that love the outdoors....and a few beers for our efforts. 🍺🍺👍
Gorgeous views and looks a really quiet and peaceful walk. Love the cloud coming over in the distance towards the end. Great video looks like a place to add to my visit list 😀
Thanks - it is a beautiful place Mull, still to put the rest of the trip up! should have filmed even more (it is absolutely amazing and nothing any camera can capture) but decided just to relax and take it all in...and stay an extra 3 days! 👍
Hi and Aye were you the guy that was on the way down that told us about that? even when I camp up a hill it's still cloudy in the mornings ☹ they always do clear up...once I am back down. Cheers...Dave.
Pity about the clag 😢. But a big well done to you Pam and Amber. Looked a great hike mate, looking forward to the next video's. Never been on mull b4 so far looks amazing 👏
Thanks Tam - Pam & Amber enjoyed it (me too). Mull is amazing well worth a visit, Ionas a nice day trip from Mull. Looking forward to when you video Skye the Cuillins and the In Pinn when you do them (if you have not already) 🙂 Only other Island I have been to is Islay which is also beautiful (and amazing trout fishing) I need to get to more Islands. 🏝👍👍
Aye Tam - didn't think it would be this year, bit of research required for them and getting late in season, still looking forward to when you do them though. 👌
Crackin vid dave.Cheers!

Thanks Ervin - it was indeed a tranquil wee hike. 👍
Splendid stuff Dave! Some magic footage on the way up and a crackin big climb up the ben… looks like you got the weather for it too!

@@ALochOnTheWildSide I always think that when I’m out and about, feel like my camera never seems to quite do it justice!
Yep your right Yasmin - but at least you get to experience it first hand yourself and if you get a bit of footage it's a bonus! 📷👍👍
I bumped into you on the climb, shame u never caught the cloud inversion at the top, i kept looking back at ben more all day it eventually cleared up
