Another point against vaccine mandates is that people have the right to choose what's best for their health. I've already had the virus, have antibodies, and heart-issues run in my family. My doctor has already said I should NOT take this no matter what due to the rare (but possible) heart-related side-effects. The risk isn't worth it. A mandate would be a harmful act of aggression and I'll respond in kind to anyone who supports or enforces it.

And you can still get covid with the vaccine (you’re way less likely to) but it can still happen, which means the best way to protect others and yourself is getting vaccinated. Another point against vaccine mandates is that people have the right to choose what's best for their health. We don't force people to lose weight, stop smoking or get the yearly flu vaccine even though these things would improve their health. Without mask or vaccine mandates Florida has been doing well.

I think everyone that supported the vaccine mandates should have to pay for the medical bills of the people suffering side effects from the vaccine
I've already had the virus, have antibodies, and heart-issues run in my family. My doctor has already said I should NOT take this no matter what due to the rare (but possible) heart-related side-effects. The risk isn't worth it. A mandate would be a harmful act of aggression and I'll respond in kind to anyone who supports or enforces it.

@@ShadowveilFox The reason so many of us didn't get sick and/or die is that we took a vaccine. This thing neither prevents anyone from getting the virus nor spreading it and must be boostered every 2-6 months and that's within the first year. So vaccines work. This shot works to help keep some from getting gravely ill but it is not a vaccine.
As a lifelong Dem I'm voting GOP in the midterms solely on the vaccine mandate. I will also not vote again for anyone in this administration in 2024. I tested positive for Covid antibodies. Regardless, I was forced to take the vaccine or lose my job. I had a heart attack 5 days after the 2nd shot. I wish I would support those who put my life at risk.

@@sofakingrad3530 Thank you. I received many blessings that day, being a few blocks from the hospital when I was having the heart attack, was able to drive there and the excellent care I received. I also have many praying friends and family. I really never thought my voting decisions would one day take my health decisions out of my hands.

It's FDA approved too. A mandate would at least make stupid people have to take it. otherwise, those idiots would keep spreading covid while "doing their own research" which makes no sense because I know you're not going to do a double-blind study over the course of a year with a couple hundred-thousand people in the data pool. Why cant the Government mandate not eating Mcdonalds because its the leading cause of diabetes and heart disease in the new generation? If you feel unsafe and super scared of "covid" then get the vaccine no one is stopping you, But should it be enforced upon people who don't want to get it? No, If they choose to not get it and die because of it, So be it, They choose their own faith, But the people who are at high risk can choose the get vaccinated and are safe. If this is really about the people health then their are a ton of other things that need to be mandated, Mcdonalds ban, Cigarette's ban etc. The point is, People decide their own health now days, If you want to take the risk of not getting vaccinated because you have your own opinion/beliefs then that should be perfectly fine in america and the Government should not be forcing you to get it.

And you can still get covid with the vaccine (you’re way less likely to) but it can still happen, which means the best way to protect others and yourself is getting vaccinated. Not to mention some of the high risk people aren’t eligible. Vaccines are already mandated to go to schools (smallpox measles etc.) so why would covid be any different.
