They won't. My husband, father, uncles and grandfathers were military. I would not want my children, neicrs, nephews or grandkids enlist. We see how the vets are treated. No thanks.
They have all the power to do that, but both democrats and republicans know it’s not lucrative for them to invest in the health and well-being of US citizens, including military members. Service members make all kinds of connections. Some of them smuggle out parts of weapons, then assemble them on their own and sell them on the black market. They'll probably trace it back to missing EO from a base.
Makes complete nonsense of the claim that ordinary people ought to have weapons, just because they aren't criminals and won't hurt people. Those ordinary people are the ones doing these things. All that heavy weaponry has to be out of the hands of civilians (we'll get rid of the military weaponry a few days or years down the line).

The reporters obviously are not chemists. Its an organic compound that has never been used in a bomb in the united states. That doesn’t mean the organic compound doesn’t exist in the US, or can’t be easily made. I guarantee every organic compound that exists exists in the US.
Don't do it..
Or you'll be on a list for asking difficult questions.
Just be a good little sheep.
Uh oh…
Wasn't he also in the military? Perhaps you can get it in the military just not to the public
You can buy anything online, by yourself.
What happened to the News in New York prison about the young man who was attacked by the prison guards?
Pathetic reporting. Fact is you DONT KNOW! Until you do know...just shut up. Those who do actually know, ain't sharing info. And they ain't gonna in the future. The city Council is ill prepared to handle these type of issues.
Definitely he did not act alone.
These people think the American people are stupid. How can he be a lone wolf? He traveled to the middle east. He purchased the substance from someone. He took a trip to Saudi Arabia. Thats where the 9/11 guys came from.
The American people ARE stupid.
Lone wolf only implies that he was not part of an organized terrorist cell. I don't think there has been a "lone wolf" in history that didn't get advice or help from someone.
And yet we didn't invade Saudi Arabia did we? I wonder why that is...
@@SuperMogul hilarious. You're paranoid AF
And who sent these active service members to war? Into wars they were lied to about? Into conflicts that resulted in post traumatic stress? Into a lifetime of doubting their own actions? Shameful that Panetta is even asked to give his opinion.
No one knows what’s going on, they are just surmising
Radical jihadis are waging holy war on the West. This is what is happening

What good are the yellow barriers sitting on the sidewalks? They would have only impeded the people trying to run out of harms way. I'm guessing Bourbon St will end up being permanently closed to vehicles.
Negligence and disregard of risk assessments.
Why pay for a risk assessment, then fail to reduce vulnerabilities--so you can check the box.
Likely never know if the city received funding to reduce vulnerabilities, based on the assessment, and what was done with the same.
no one mentioning the root cause of this....its the cult of peace....
Yes. Unfortunately Islam does not blend with any American/Western value. We are heading into a world of desegregation. Religion, class, and race. It’s happening 😢
Yet look how gen Z lost their minds supporting Hamas.
sound like the trump cult.

Brainwashed or brain dead.
Islam also doesn't tell you to murder innocent people.... That is not the way of any religion I'm aware of. This guy is claiming Islam, but is the furthest from it.

@fabiomazza6426 ive read the book countless times, he is right. In fact in the book it says if someone hurts a non believer for no reason he will be met with the worst punishment hell has to offer.

@@jackoalltrades5708there's been a heightened terrorist threat risk all year. The crowds NYE produces are a very predictabke target. We just saw another major car ramming attack in Germany. Leaving space for a vehicle to access Bourbon St. was a significant fumble by New Orleans local authorities. Obviously most responsibility falls on the terrorists, but NO government shares a bit of it too

It would seem that the radicalized PTSD vet has sent a subtle message to Trump that Isis can get him anywhere.
Why don’t you report on the letters Matt the Las Vegas suicide bomber released , he say why he killed him self . Please report the new ! You have one job and you can even do that.
So two conservative terrorist attacks.
You were literally just told in the news report that one of them was motivated by Islamic belief and inspired by Isis but you wanna call them a conservative just because they were in the military.
The double standards are sickening, new Orleans terrorists attack, las Vegas cyber truck explosion. The victim in trump hotel blast was suffering PTSD. Underline the word victim.
I think the officials are lying about the cyber truck incident.
It is not adding up.
The body and everything in the car was burnt beyond recognition.
So badly that DNA needs to be used to confirm his identity.
Except for his military ID and passport and of course a phone with a note that said don't worry nothing to see here just another soldier with ptsd.

Council member passes the buck!!! He sais its law enforcements question to answee. Its unclear he is a liar.
Well make him president then
Asking why the bollards were not in place before, seems silly. They were not there because this was unexpected. If someone flew a drone there, and did something bad, would the question then be about why there was not a net over the city before?
Regarding the soldier in Las Vegas, it wasn't just PTSD. It was TBI which is much worse.
If a person is Anti-Governnent the Governnent says the person has PTSD.
And a terrorist.
If it (the chemical) was rare to the USA, where is it prevalent? Do you have to be a chemist to make it? What countries is it easily obtained? What kinds of questions are the USA media asking?
So what is this rare compound that could result in additional explosions?
Panetta's response is one of the dumbest attempts at a technical explanation I've ever heard. Why didn't he just say, "I don't know; I will need further information." and leave it at that. Because he clearly _didn't_ know.

And with CNN helping muddy the waters and call him an "attacker" and minimize the fact it's a muSSlim terrorist and one who acted with assistance is shameful
We'll never make sense of this.
The place and time of the New Orleans attack was intentional and not a coincidence. So stop telling everyone this was a random terrorist attack and many will follow ! Sick and tired of the BS.
my heart hurts after watching the footage… like hurts!!
They really think some will attack the same street again??😮
No, but would it be responsible to leave the city wide open again? The whole world just found out how vulnerable we are, but since we were already hit, we should just keep leaving everything wide open. SMH
the implications are terrifying; however, a rare substance will be a beacon for intelligence professionals. This may widen the operational footprint and I imagine the CIA will have a hit list by the end of week.
Not lone wolves, this is 3%/Oath Keepers or one of their factions. Here’s a juicy fact, it appears TORO never made any donations to republicans only democrats. And it was their service used.
Just remember, they were able to track this guy everywhere because of charging stations. Drive a Tesla = have no privacy or autonomy.
Got to love technological advances. Digital ID. Globally Unique Identifier. GUID.
Anyone that understands chemistry can easily access chemicals that will explode. Foreign or domestic

So what about the organic compound? I hate how they fill time with everything but addressing the video’s title.
So a guy acting alone in America had exotic foreign explosive compounds? I thought foreign means someone outside USA gave it to him?
I think this story is becoming more bizarre day by day
Could it be some sort of remote brainwashing by foreign agencies? Like a coordinated psychic mind control?

Organic just means it contains carbon bonded to other atoms, not particularly noteworthy.
...and arguably is non-trival in structure and the other atoms aren't halides. Carbon dioxide for example is not considered an organic chemical by many. Some would exclude things like Carbon tetrachloride or Hydrogen cyanide (even though it contains a C-H). Your point stands; something being "an organic chemical" isn't really noteworthy.

The quote from the attacker about religion, straying from god, substance abuse, etc. could have come from ANY religious person or 12-step program. Should we be more suspicious of those religions? Really vanilla and nothing to single out about Islam in particular.

What's wrong with raw milk? I thought it has more nutrients than pasteurized.
@ raw milk has increased risks to E. coli, listeria, and salmonella, among other things. People like drinking it because it lasts longer and apparently has lower risk to allergies.
Why isn't Bourbon Street at the same security as Wrigley ville?
Leon Panetta probably doesn’t know who Jack the Ripper was. But even Jack the Ripper was 'caught'-though only after his death-because his actions were so symbolic, they almost became part of cultural DNA. 😅 Now we’re talking about an attacker using a rare organic compound in explosives, something never seen before in the US. Is this a new trend or just another strange coincidence? 🤔 Only time will tell, but maybe we should consider what symbolic messages these actions carry. Looks like we’ve got another mystery on our hands.

same rental company,,same service record stationed at fort bragg..the cops say that there is no such thing as a coincidence,
Turo is an online service that connects vehicle owners with others that are looking to rent vehicles privately. Its not like either of these men rented from the same Enterprise lot. As far as both of them being stationed at Fort Bragg, there is not a shred of evidence that they were there at the same time. Even if they were, it would be like two bank robberies happening in different states by people who both just happened to vacation at Hawaii at the same time at some point in their lives. In this case, would someone assume they met and conspired to rob banks after meeting each other in Hawaii? Only if one watches way too much TV.

Did the monks who immolated themselves in protest of the Vietnam War suffer from PTSD too?😮
Yes. PTSD doesn't eliminate political views.
If they didn't before starting the fire they sure did for a short time after, but seriously though you have to feel very strongly to do that, from acts they witnessed or witnessed the aftermath of both changed them and probably gave some of them ptsd. I hate that it came to that but i do respect and admire the monks resolve.
