As a Welshman living in NZ for the last 20 years,I would thank Gats for his service to the Welsh people.
I would commend him on the way he has brought the winning ethos to my countrymen whenever they pull on that most hallowed of shirts.
I would Implore him to go back to grass roots rugby coaching, wherever in the world he feels needed.
    Da iawn Warren,diolch yn fawr

Great insight into a great rugby man by two outstanding blokes. I will continue to follow and support your well deserved rise. The media needs people like you guys, who come to the fore because of an absolute love for the game. Pele once called football 'the beautiful game', but Pele didn't play rugby.

A master coach in every sense, he's also modest and humble. He's only scratching the surface regarding his success with Wales and the challenge he faced with a significantly limited pool of players plus other factors, just immense. He really does inspire everyone around him. I personally wish he could stay for another 10 years.

One of New Zealand's truly great rugby ambassadors for sure; a living legend of the rugby world in general, as well as being Welsh rugby's 'man at the helm' for one of the most successful periods in it's history in particular.. Bloody well done boys, another brilliant interview. Thank you both so much, for giving your audience this chance to understand, more fully, the man behind the 'nose'. Screw the media, for their inept and stupid portrayals of Warren Gatland during his coaching and managerial tenures, I say! Good luck to him and his men this weekend. All the best.

Good luck to Warren and his boys for this weekend’s big one playing for the Grand Slam. Would enjoy seeing what Warren could do as the next Wallaby coach. thanks guys excellent chat with WG, really informative and great to hear his views on his coaching history and what has inspired him to succeed even if that just means being competitive, not always winning but learning from it and intergrating it into his systems and perspective to make each game better and bring a different approach to the next game possibly on who he is playing, what players he has at his disposal and which player suits the conditions weather wise, ground playing at etc, would love to see him back in NZ even at super rugby level and i believe the Blues are his best chance of a role at the moment based on recent history and now 3-4 coaches they have had over last 5 years, Thanks again guys and look forward to more great interviews at that level, best i have seen in quite a while, awesome

As an avid avid Welsh Rugby supporter - I am very worried post world-cup. Not half of the credit he deserves has been given to Warren. If WRU is facing Warren looking at France, England, New Zealand, my goodness, we should have moved the world to have kept him (as should Ireland have done!!!). We are sitting on the crest of his hard work, and I cannot remember a single Welsh Rugby coach that has developed the entire WRU like Gatland has. He has built depth in a Welsh squad that has struggled for depth for almost 20 years plus. I look back at most achivements pre-Gatland (Ruddock, etc.) and it has felt like they have been built on sand. Also, finally, if NZRU don't have him, then my goodness, I can identify a weakness with NZRU x

Warren Gatlin is my personal choice for ALL BLACKS coach, the guy is knowledgeable, articulate a professor of the code, he has history, and a kind of wisdom to boot.
It's like he has a personality for the game which is something you can only get
When you've been around for such along time.
PS- Absolutely loved this video of Warren Gatlin he's definitely my pick for ABs coach after Hanson.

As an Irishman, I want to say thanks to Wazza! He was really the one who got the ball rolling, after the Ashton debacle, that has led to the success Ireland are having today(recent English game apart!) Brought back old stagers like Mick Galwey to restore morale, introduced BOD, strings, ROG, etc, and turned things professional in the setup. Viewed unfairly in some Irish quarters because of BOD omission in lions test

Does Gats have to have a burnt nose when he's in New Zealand, just so you people can recognize him as the guy from the Newspaper cartoon? What a great man, quite the raconteur. It's really interesting to think about who had more impact on rugby - Sean, or the man that's helped professionalize Welsh rugby. Great timing ahead of the weekend's game, I'm a bit worried he may have made Wales a bit hard to beat! Many thanks.

Excellent Interview there chaps. I wonder if you could get Eddie Jones?
You can def sense a bit of arrogance in the way he speaks. BTW I am not taking that as a negative, I think anyone who coaches or plays at a high level needs that bit of arrogance to succeed. He has down amazingly well for Wales and the Lions and he has previously mentioned he would also be interested in taking the Lions to SA. So that might well be his next major job, but I expect he will go home for a year 1st.
