Quick heads up for future vids: An OL “kicking out” is a specific kick-out block on a downhill EDGE defender (i.e. counter), where the play-side EDGE is left for him to kick out, and the back isn’t intended to hit the edge (wide, beyond 9-tech). Something like that gun bunch offset rush that has the G and C leading the way (sweep feel) can be referenced as “two pulling linemen,” as opposed to “kick out.”

For the last play, Streak the drag against single high man for a rub route to happen where he breaks naked! Found that out just labbing! Also slot fork in gun y slot in giants is a great stock play with flood/high low Reads

On the RPO read flat play if you pass the ball to the flat or the wheel you get a penalty illegal blocker downfield. Not sure how to stop that from happening.

i always like to run the triple option, even tho it requires a lot of analysis it is insanely efficient with a good scrambling QB

Steelers Crossers is a great play. Drop a crosser to the flat and the other is always wide open in the middle of the field.

Weird how sometimes to have to hold X on options for the QB to keep, and sometimes you have to hold X for QB to hand off..
You should never have to hold for a QB keep. Holding the button is always to hand it off

Anyone know if old gen will get these new formations, like a patch update? Havent gotten Madden in last 3 years, so not sure if they update playbooks for old gen.

First play was in last year's game in 49ers
Madden needs to fix PBs in the patch it’s a few playbooks that don’t have full plays and some also freeze if you audible to them from certain formations
So find plays with corner routes on the slot and streak the outside receiver

Unfortunately I don't. Since MUT, tournaments, and some CFMs don't allow custom playbooks, I never use them. I also caution everyone to be careful with custom playbooks - some people give themselves too many "money plays" from different formations and they don't ever gain a deep understanding of how to run a single formation well

On flanker drive if they’re in zone u can also streak the hb and he should be wide open 15 yds downfield as the 2 linebackers are running with the crossers for some reason

I noticed you backing up in the pocket instead of stepping up. Is that out of habit or necessary for this year's Madden? I've been stepping up and am doing alright but haven't played that much yet. Is one better than the other in your opinion?

Everytime I use the RPO where I motion my TE out and hit him on the wheel I get flagged for an illegal man downfield. Anyway to get around this? Great video though. Just made a playbook and added all these plays. I’m trying to remember all of the set ups for them so I can dominate in my connected franchise. Thanks in advance!
It's unfortunately a little bugged, just have to try and make the throw sooner to avoid the penalty but it's definitely annoying.

That's a next gen console, but you could be playing the old gen version of the game. Make sure in your library you're playing the version for Xbox Series X/S and not Xbox One

They're similar but personally I'd go with the Jags. Slightly better WR squad and Trevor Lawrence has Gunslinger

@@DREDAY717 If you're not finding these plays, it means you're in the PS4 / Xbox One version of the game. Check your game library and you should see the other version
Madden 24 is cheese the A.I simulator. Very little skill involved unfortunately

I've seen some issues with playbooks on old gen, so that might be the case
