That con about the contract ending early...always get a contract with guaranteed hours. The hospital more than likely will not cancel you early because they still have to pay you
have you seen a situation where someone asks for the first 1-2 weeks of company housing and then switch to taking to stipend for the remainder of the assignment?
how is the weekly stipend amount determined? I was recently offered an assignment in Nashville, where the GSA lodging rate is $170.00 nightly($1,190 weekly). My agency told me that they were only alloting $306.00 a week! Am I getting screwed over if I accept this?
What if my tax address is my dad's house...I don't really pay rent but the cable bill and help him out. How do I "duplicate" expenses so that I won't have to pay taxes on my $14xx weekly stipend?
I am a start-up company can you help me please with how to set up a benefits package that includes stipends. Does this money generally come out of recruiters fee or how is that done?
If you're 2 hours minimum from your home base aka tax home then it is tax free money. If it isn't be very careful...you will end up paying the taxes on it which can be at 40%!

Great video! Thank you for the information.
Do companies actually pay 100% of the GSA rates? If not what % would you say is average?
Great information!
What about traveling with a buddy? Should one of you take the stipend and the other should go with company pick?

For company paid housing are there restrictions on number of occupants on the property? Like if a person has a partner, child, etc.

"GSA rates are the maximum amounts that can be given without the exchange of receipts. So it’s not a requirement that these figures be paid out.".
Yes
Yes you are, unless the tax rate is very high, which I doubt
