    Love your channel! Suggestion 🤭 you had asked about this in a previous post. Take down your middle light behind you. It cuts you in the neck. Put it on the shelf facing up maybe? Or and an RBG light to add a little something something to the set. I love your channel, did I say that before.

    Is it possible to stitch several HDR images together to create a 360° HDRI combining both techniques? Great video, great pace, great content :)

    In all seriousness though, this is a great video and I do actually love your channel. People should take into account, however, that there seem to be some issues with this initial release of panorama stitching and HDR, as mentioned by Todd Dominey in his channel. Don't know if those issues were specific to the files from his camera, but I seriously doubt it. Hopefully CO will release updates soon.

      Interesting! I went through the beta testing process and didn’t run into any issues other than little quality of life stuff that they fixed up by the time the full version came! I’ll have to see what that’s all about.

    I find C1 is not as capable on panoramas that run parallel to the sun angle. It can't get the sky right. Affinity doesn't have that issue. I wonder if taking the camera out of awb and making it constant would help the issue?

  • @mariemuller838

    It's nice that they finally added this, but it is really slow it takes at best a few seconds longer than lightroom and the worst I got was 5-6x the time lightroom took.

    5 bracket HDR on my Sony all day long. Produces killer commercial interiors and covers 90% of landscapes. Just take a decent VND and you’re loaded.

    The early 2010s, the fake over the top HDR was the trend. Then came over-sharpening the image. Wonder if this will cycle again in the future, or if it was simply initial hype due to early tools allowing for these looks to happen.

    I tested latest Beta and decided to skip te version. I'm so disappointed on implementation of pano/hdr; bare basics. Probably every phone app offers more. Let alone dedicated software. How hard is it to select images, and sent them to external app, than refreshing library to import that back. Yes, few more clicks, but I will continuing to do panorama externally, both faster and with more control in comparison to this new C1. While panorama is just lacking HDR is pure disappointment and bad processing; ton of artefacts if a single bit in image is moved between takes; forget about handheld HDR, which even my camera built in feature, does better job of removing ghosting. I could not pull pleasant image for the life ... can't reproduce what I do with other software. C1 HDR's seems too much punchy, harsh, contrasty and not to the level of natural impression I'm used to. Also ghosting is worst yet; even Lightroom have better option, though I did not used that for years now. I'm sad C1 started to play like Adobe; adding gimmick features every 6 months to make subscribers happy, while leaving out ongoing problems and issues. I was throwing eye ti the SilkiPix just for fun and look at there how they do it. Free tool from Microsoft called ICE does better panoramas and have one of the best edge restoring. And it's free. And so many years old. Really: C1 should NOT came out with such a basic and outdated implementation in 2022. That would be cool in 2010! Just because it is integrated. It's like Adobe added it in some 2015, consumer oriented feature. I do not need to use it, sure. But what than buying it? And if I would had subscription like with Adobe? Ended up paying 10 years for very same software. That why I do not believe in subscription model. Very sad. After 5 years starting to look elsewhere again. For instance, they SHOULD do something with DAM part of software. It's one of the only software that you can't search from whole database (unless you wait days to load all images). That should be considered before HDR ... and I would be glad to buy it :(

      @Peter-df1br 2 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      How bad was Adobe's first take when they implemented Pano/HDR option in LR? Relax! It'll get better in C1! There is more to C1 than these 2 new features. 'Patience is the companion of wisdom'. Even without Pano/HRD, I still love C1.

    • @Peter-df1br
      @Peter-df1br 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@bioliv1 Yeah, I saw in his video this morning. He has already communicated with C1 about his findings. It'll get resolved I'm sure. I just get fed up with some people who do nothing but rant and complain. 'The only thing worse than a troubled mind, is a closed one'.
