I was actually just thinking how I felt a little let down with the newest season, but you've completely changed my mind. Seeing the entire season's timeline put together in this one video smacked me in the face with just how funny it really was. I might not have laughed out loud as much as I have with past seasons, as you said, but the chaos unfolding underneath a "serious" podcast is mind-blowingly hilarious. I continue to be impressed by the attention to detail when it comes to continuity, too. Great video! And Toni is such a great side character! The actress puts so much emotion into her. I really love your Oscar Special retrospectives. I've tried to explain what the On Cinema Universe is, and why I think it's a work of comic genius, to many people I know, but unsuccessfully conveyed the brilliance behind it. Your 20-odd minute videos summarise them perfectly. I bit the bullet and subscribed to the Hei Network last week so have been binging everything all week - including the 11th Oscar Special. There is so much to unpack with the 11th - of all the Specials, I think it is the most uncomfortable to watch - and therefore the most successful in terms of it's artistic value. I feel like I need a break from this universe for a while now. Watching so much toxicity from Tim is exhausting. Still amazes me how such a wealth of fabulous content isn't more well known. Maybe that's a good thing. Anyway, thanks again for the content.

Absolutely love the slow build-up to Gregg & Kaili- executed wonderfully. I wasn’t sure which direction their interactions were going, at least initially. The first time he said, “I didn’t realize you knew so much about movies”, it definitely raised my eyebrows because Gregg hasn’t engaged with her previously. Then he made another comment and by the third time it was pretty evident that “the apparently asexual Gregg”(LOL!) actually could have a crush on her. That’s likely why I couldn’t pick up on the budding romance, sooner, just couldn’t see Gregg ever doing that(engaging in normal human relations). All of it just played so well from the bread crumbs in the episodes preceding him asking her to the dollar theatre to the subsequent ghosting . GREAT VIDEOS!! Keep up the good work! I went to a screening of the 9th with Tim doing a Q and A after, but that wasn’t live when it aired. it was really cool to see the tribe out there like you said! But still love makin a night out of it and watching at home, it’s the most wonderful time of the year
Excellent work. G. Amato's reaction to that car pulling up was wild. I thought Tim was going to get shot, arrested, or kidnapped. Also the level of stress Joey displayed at the end of the episode when he was certain he was not on the call with T and G anymore was very telling. With the stakes so high since the shooting, and the potential for the reopening of the Electric Sun case, this does feel like we are approaching some kind of precipice. I think Tim has been kept intentionally confused and disoriented by G. so he can do what he wants without Tim noticing. He gets no sleep, no food and is clearly still abusing Lithium. G. also insists on agitating him by supporting Gregg. This is why I think Tim is unaware exactly of why Toni and Matt were targeted. However, having Toni talk to the DA is not good for G. as she originally was involved in the ranch. Good motive for a shooting in my opinion.

I was wondering the same stuff you mentioned and I'm pretty sure there will be plenty of revelations, like when they finally prove Mark Porsche killed Matt New Man in self defence over a COD dispute gone wild. It's a pretty nice twist, but what I was really hoping for (and they didn't do) was Gregg x Kaili romance over those Harry Potter movies. It would've been so fun to see Gregg getting it on with a lady. Alas... Anyway, pretty sure Tamato will turn back into Tim for season 15 though. Something's not right about G. I think he's exploiting our Poinkio as if he's made of wood and not a real boy.
I genuinely think the hit was put out on toni because Amato wants Tim in some way shape or form to marry a woman of *his* choosing (Possibly Kylie?), and Toni being a love interest who could potentially distract Tim from doing what Amato wants is a block to his goals. I thought due to Joey's absence that *he* was the hitman but I cant really tell and the hitman doesn't exactly look like anyone we know (mask aside). I don't think Tim put out the hit, but I think he will do the classic Tim thing and benefit from tragedy, and Amato may have somehow, for a reason not yet disclosed (I havent watched the new oscars special yet) orchestrated the hit. I know that guy is shady. I used to think On Cinema was just a waste of time, but found that it relaxed me in a strange way. I kept coming back, and now your commentary tells me why.
There are two things that On Cinema came up with where I thought, "How the hell does this not already exist? It's such an obvious and great idea." 1. Baboon: A Pep Boys Story 2. A portable Arthur museum
I've half a mind to call in sick on Monday with Oscar Fever. I don't imagine this will be the end of On Cinema though, it wouldn't make sense for them to still offer annual subscriptions if there were no more plans to use HEI. Also, given Tims proclivity for burning down VFAs, I suspect that camp is going down in flames.
It's so wild that during the lead-up to this Oscar special, Brendan Schaub, who is one of the Rogan-orbiting podcast chuds who conceivably could be the basis for the T. Amato character and the whole new bro podcast concept for this season, rolled his expensive truck attempting to do donuts. He gave himself a concussion and totaled the truck. This feels so much like an OC Tim thing to do that it feels like OC is reaching out into the real world.
I think its truly hilarious the only reason tim had a breakdown and snitched on amato was because of a childish tantrum about not getting the car he was promised. Classic manchild tim!
Gregg comes across as asexual not only because of his singular focus on movie trivia but also in comparison to Tim's many romantic embroilments and horndogging. Someone on Reddit pointed out in the early episode where Gregg cohosts with himself on video, his tape fades into a recording of a womans' exercise show and Gregg nervously shuts off the tv. At first i was wary about an "romance" arc between Kaili and Gregg as it seemed to deviate from Gregg's character, but I see now that it plays into his obsessive nature - wearing the Harry Potter hat, mentioning Kaili will be at Amatocon, being very forgiving about her segment on the Swift Eras Tour movie.
I used to work in pharmacy, caught the catheter box straight away, was a sad and happy moment when I was the only one referencing it in my in character comments on Hei network comment sections. Glad you caught it on yr third watch ❤

I think Tim has been kept intentionally confused and disoriented by G. so he can do what he wants without Tim noticing. He gets no sleep, no food and is clearly still abusing Lithium. G. also insists on agitating him by supporting Gregg. This is why I think Tim is unaware exactly of why Toni and Matt were targeted. However, having Toni talk to the DA is not good for G. as she originally was involved in the ranch. Good motive for a shooting in my opinion.

It's a pretty nice twist, but what I was really hoping for (and they didn't do) was Gregg x Kaili romance over those Harry Potter movies. It would've been so fun to see Gregg getting it on with a lady. Alas...

I genuinely think the hit was put out on toni because Amato wants Tim in some way shape or form to marry a woman of *his* choosing (Possibly Kylie?), and Toni being a love interest who could potentially distract Tim from doing what Amato wants is a block to his goals. I thought due to Joey's absence that *he* was the hitman but I cant really tell and the hitman doesn't exactly look like anyone we know (mask aside). I don't think Tim put out the hit, but I think he will do the classic Tim thing and benefit from tragedy, and Amato may have somehow, for a reason not yet disclosed (I havent watched the new oscars special yet) orchestrated the hit. I know that guy is shady. He's definitely a mobster of some kind with all of his land, construction, mining, shipping, film, and public works (sewage water) stuff, which are companies mobsters would historically extort. There is something massively fishy going on, and I am here for it.

I've half a mind to call in sick on Monday with Oscar Fever. I don't imagine this will be the end of On Cinema though, it wouldn't make sense for them to still offer annual subscriptions if there were no more plans to use HEI. Also, given Tims proclivity for burning down VFAs, I suspect that camp is going down in flames.

It's so wild that during the lead-up to this Oscar special, Brendan Schaub, who is one of the Rogan-orbiting podcast chuds who conceivably could be the basis for the T. Amato character and the whole new bro podcast concept for this season, rolled his expensive truck attempting to do donuts. He gave himself a concussion and totaled the truck. This feels so much like an OC Tim thing to do that it feels like OC is reaching out into the real world.
Loved this season. Great video. No stone left unturned.

Gregg comes across as asexual not only because of his singular focus on movie trivia but also in comparison to Tim's many romantic embroilments and horndogging. Someone on Reddit pointed out in the early episode where Gregg cohosts with himself on video, his tape fades into a recording of a womans' exercise show and Gregg nervously shuts off the tv.
At first i was wary about an "romance" arc between Kaili and Gregg as it seemed to deviate from Gregg's character, but I see now that it plays into his obsessive nature - wearing the Harry Potter hat, mentioning Kaili will be at Amatocon, being very forgiving about her segment on the Swift Eras Tour movie.
