These are probably the most strangest buses I've ever seen. But what's even more strange is the fact most of these buses don't have doors which is completely unsafe especially of the bus is traveling st high speeds. Also, these buses looks very outdated, it looks like these buses have been in service since the 1990's or 80's.

It’s a absolutely beautiful video don’t get me wrong but maybe you could’ve like posted a current video showing transportation and how it connects with the protests right now or something of that nature however this is your channel and I love it always

This video seems to be five or six years old. The smaller buses are Hino BM's built in Burma under a licensing agreement. The larger buses are ex-Japanese city buses built for their left-hand rule of the road. They were retrofitted with doors on their old nearside, but still retaining their old offside doors. Newer buses now operating are second hand Korean and new from China, with the correct doors for Burma's right-hand rule of the road. Since Burma changed from British left-hand rule of the road in the 1970s, many (Japanese-built) vehicles in Burma retain right-hand drive steering, which is very dangerous.

Many of these buses came from Japan and Korea, evident from the signage left behind when they were still in service in Japan or Korea

I honestly don’t think this is an appropriate time for this video ❤️

No matter on which side the steering wheel is on, the cars and buses still go on the right lane. What caused this?

They used to drive on the left. They have had (and continue to have) some crazy ass leaders and dictators in Burma/Myanmar. Not sure why they're still selling left drive cars though.

@@Virre737 Once the millitary dictatorship falls, Myanmar will probably switch back to driving on the left which is probably why as well as the Japanese Government probably not going to stop sending their old equipement from the private sector to Burma such as their old DMUs and Hino, Nissan Diesel etc. buses unless China invades but who knows eh?

@@wclifton968gameplaystutorials better to switch on the left because their neighbours India(on the West) and Thailand(on the East) are RHD countries while China(on the North) is a LHD country.

I know Myanmar is poor. But in a city of 5 million people with no mass transit, only buses, even they do better than this? Are there bus stops? Timetables? I won't ask about dedicated bus lanes.
