    this is look like jakarta few years ago. bus stop wherever they want, and start drive again when bus is full, no ac. hopeful u get better in new president. gretting from indonesia

    The bus system was upgraded 4 years ago under the name YBS yangon bus service. Most of the bus are now new and clean.

    Too bad you went here in 2016, they have just reorganized all the bus system under one management (YBS) this month, waiting for the Yangon tram and BRT if you catch it! :)

    Burma should be a RHD country. The majority of vehicles come from Japan or even from Singapore & Thailand & very few from Hong Kong & Macao.

      Because it is really hot (+32) and the buses do not have AC

      When it's 32 deg C in the UK they run with the doors open too.
      Very, very occasionally.

      It's pretty common in third world countries to have buses with no AC so they either open the door or the window.

    Old buses. Yangon bus in 2020 = Jakarta bus 20 year ago.
