Incredible!!!!!
At the beginning pf 1969 NY Central RR became the Junior partner in the ill fated Penn Central rr along with the Pennsylvania rr. It's amazing that after 53 years old NY Central tracks are still in use.
that s because NY Central was a better rail better Manage . Over 70% of the PRR is gone west of Pittsburg
All the NYC is a mainline from NY to Chicago, but at east of Cleveland is the CSX mainline to New York and west of Cleveland NS's mainline to Chicago. CSX had to be redouble track the former B&O in Indiana and Ohio after the Conrail acquisition and NS got all PRR main through Pittsburgh and Altoona east.
Awesome CSX train race! Thank you for the information on the old NYC tracks. Today I visited a train shop in the village of Hamburg and they had a few NYC passenger cars. I started putting up my Christmas train layout the goes around the Christmas tree. My grandpa was a big train guy who recently passed away this March so my dad has been bringing train stuff from my grandpa’s house. So I used some model trains from my grandpa’s house and put them on the Christmas train layout. On the layout we have a Union Pacific arrow train that looks like it’s from the future The arrow train passenger cars are made from GM bus bodies. The other train that we put on the layout this year is 2 Santa Fe with F3 alco units with 3 auto racks with cars on them and a CN Boxcar, a South Buffalo hopper, and a Bethlehem steel gondola and boxcar.
Those wing cars for the stack trains are getting more and more rare to see. Nice train race 👍
Awesome train Race Meet the New York Central has a lot of history in Western New York and everywhere great to hear stories about it another fun and entertaining video with a bunch of awesome trains DPU Alright Roll it
Loved the many different k5las you videoed, sounded like real CSX and NS trains. Good work my friend, as always.

Awesome double green signals and train race!!
The train race between the CSX M560 and I168 was a great way to start this WWoT episode...

This premiere is going to be very good

Loved the dash 8 and SD70ACC!
Train races are possibly more awesome than meets, but not by much. That first train was just frecking huge, are u kidding me?
Even though 2 are sidings now, good to see all four NYC tracks still in place. Train chasing is pretty cool too. Trains are just awesome. Well done WWoT.
I agree with you
Hello from Gallipolis, Ohio
I like the Navy unit in the trailer
Awesome train race
Great catches of a good race.
GTW! I SEE YOU! MMRR is the Mid Michigan Railroad. It interchanges with the Lake State Railway here in Saginaw County Michigan
That was a mighty fine train race right there. That second one was booking it jackball! Even though the first one had a DPU (alright!). I'm guessing the first one was letting the second one pass him.
Thanks
Awesome videos. Awesome 2 trains, cool DPU ALRIGHTS 🙂👍
Thank you very much!
Wow!
Great train race. Great video watching all the box cars of commerce roll across America on rails.
Times in grocery store purchasing products, wonder by what rail did the product arrive.
Thankful for all the commerce moving across this nation train, truck, plane, auto moving merchandise to allow
Our lives to have enjoyment, shelter, food, clothing, and extra things.
Good sharp video and nice to learn that the four tracks rail bed is what is left of the rails past New York Central.

ChainsawN&W1218, real interesting to see that NYC former main,I like seeing the old jointed rail on the sidings and that CSX freight was hot 🔥 on the heels of the first one on the other line, I caught that a couple of months ago, stay safe and warm with all that snow You guys got, look forward to seeing some more freights in the snow ❄️,👍🛤🚂!
I saw an eastbound CSX train overhead on MD 118 while I was on the school bus! There was no westbound train but when I looked at the signals from the bridge, I saw the headlights of the CSX train
You have some serious zoom capabilities
That was a great premiere WWoT, I really liked the train race with M568 and I168 and I am glad that everyone is safe from the big snow storm in Western New York where WWoT films trains
Man they emptied the yard on that first train and yes it must of had a kitchen sink aboard. The second train was booking Jack but didn't use his indicators to overtake the other train! MMRR Could stand for Mid Michigan Railway from what I could find on the Interweb! Cool train race and another great video from WWOT on YouTubaah! Thanks Mike enjoy your Turkey day! ❄️👍❄️
It does stand for Mid Michigan Railroad which is owned by Genessee & Wyoming. Runs from Alma to just west of Saginaw in Michigan.

Very cool video. I do have q question--how do get the IDs for trains? I have never been able to locate that information online, so I am curious how some railfans are able to identify specific trains. Thanks again for a great video!

Montreal Maine Atlantic Railroad
MMRR. Mid-Michigan Railroad.
👋 Hello, thank you for all your wonderful train videos, God bless😊
I have a question, how far away is the train before the bells sound at a railroad crossing??
Also,
How far away from each other is one set of tracks to another set of tracks?? I see an area can have three for five different sets of tracks running parallel to each other, and I was curious, is that like an 8 feet between tracks, or 6 feet?
I’m trying to judge about how wide the train would be compared to the distance between the two wheels on the track! 😊
All depends on the crossing
MMRR stands for Mid Michigan Rail Road
i168 was the Train I was Driving lol 😆
I know we all call them telephone poles but are they not actually for electricity poles, they haven't used poles for telephones here in Australia for over 40 years they all been layed underground.
