Nice ID on the 2770 GP38-2 . The tell for the :38" part is the engine air intake box. Between the air intake and the dynamic brake blister. Access for the dash 2 Intakes were through the tall electrical cabinet door. All the dash 2's can easily be seen by the larger intake screens for the radiators for all '38's , 39's and 40's. Good shot of that at 16:11 Great Job Mike!
BNSF CSX and a CP DPU on 1 train is a rare catch, good catch buddy from a Csx trainee in training I'll be lookin for ya when im out there, love your videos keep em rollin 🙏🏼👊🏻
That CSX I017 had half of Massachusetts on it whilst the 22K had very little on it but he was booking Jack! Nice CSX priority trains really moving as well. Thanks Mike 👍

Hey WWOT. Have you seen railfanning videos from someone who lives in the Western half of the United States? Well, I can tell you that even though the I001 would have the highest priority of the CSX trains, it’s not the nation’s Top priority train. That goes to the P001, also known as the Sunset Limited.
Yes a DPU stands for distributed power unit. It basically is any locomotive on a train that is not part of the front group of engines and is helping power the train. It could be placed anywhere else in the middle halfway down a third of the way down or at the end basically anywhere is on the train that they decide.
Also the difference between DPU's and regular helper/pusher units is that DPU's are unmanned -- they are radio-controlled from the head end and can be set to either mimic what the lead locomotives are doing, or be controlled indpendently by the head end engineer.
It seems to me the trains in the east are shorter in length than the trains in the western United States. Anyone notice that, too? Of course the number of cars affect the number of engines & DPUs. Of course, then a really long train comes right up!! LOL.
Thanks for all you do for us :). This is a Christmas donation gift from me to you @Wide World of Trains :). Again I am very glad that I am kept up with my membership after @TH-cam and @Wide of Trains gifted me a free Membership :). Will @TH-cam gift me another free Membership even that I am a paid Member? I have been seeing that happen to other subscribers that are paid Members. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year. 🎅🎅🎅🤶🤶🤶🧑🎄🧑🎄🧑🎄🫶🫶🫶🫶🫶🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳

Great work dude!
How do you receive your info on trains ?
Make sure you gift me a membership before the premiere starts and this premiere should be good
what the heck does DPU mean? what is a high priority train?
Yes a DPU stands for distributed power unit. It basically is any locomotive on a train that is not part of the front group of engines and is helping power the train. It could be placed anywhere else in the middle halfway down a third of the way down or at the end basically anywhere is on the train that they decide.

Indeed a unusual lash up.
Nice Video
Awesome
What kind of camera do you use to see that far away?
the lower the number in the csx symbol for intermodals the higher the priority? Is that how it works
Best movie
NS locomotive: get out of my way you darn gate runner 😡
It seems to me the trains in the east are shorter in length than the trains in the western United States. Anyone notice that, too? Of course the number of cars affect the number of engines & DPUs. Of course, then a really long train comes right up!! LOL.
I need to clean out all my subscriptions, too!
