This is an exceptional video! The Casio user manual is absolutely awful, struggled for hours trying to get the watch set, and still couldn't get it right. In less than 18 minutes, you on conveyed everything I needed to know in a manner impossible to ascertain from the manual. THANK YOU!
I took the manual out and it was like i forgot how to speak this video saved me from throwing it in the drawer and not wearing this amazing warch thank you

I got mine today, and was able to set the time and date without the manual, but as soon as I got a chance came to this video to learn the rest of the settings and other nuances of the watch. Excellent tutorial, thank you as always.

I now have 2 GA2000’s, one green-and-black and the other white. I like both, but the white one is my favorite, because it has positive LCD displays. Both my GA2000’s have solid, lumed hands, which I prefer over the skeletonized hands in the yellow-and-black version. By the way, your how-to video for setting up this watch really helped!!
I've been frustrated with this watch since i bought it as a gift for a person in another country and haven't given it to them yet. This video seemed a bit fast moving at the beginning but to those of you just starting to watch it just hang in there. You will pick up bits and pieces as you go along. By the time i watched it through the second time I feel 100% in control of the watch and will be able to teach the person I will give it to. I agree with James below, forget the manual and just watch this video or I will say after watching this video the manual will make more sense. Thank you to the creator of this video. :-)

Life saving video. My watch came with zero instructions. So I went to the Casio homepage, found my watch and downloaded the user guide and quick reference. 30 minutes later I am still trying to set the time. Aggravated and annoyed I decided to see what TH-cam had to offer and lucky for me, and the watch, I found your video. Just by watching was able to set my time, date, and all the other cool features in the time it took to watch the video. Great video, thank you for coming through when Casio clearly failed and now that I know how to navigate I love the watch.
I purchased this watch as a gift for myself. Beautiful in the blue with light gold accent. A good fitting comfortable light weight watch. However this watch is not for those that are not familiar with the many functions of a Casio watch. Extremally difficult to set and is best left alone when you get someone to set it for you, Lighting is poor and the most you get out of it is three seconds. I suggest when you do get it set do not change it for daylight savings time just know that you are ahead or behind time. I did not feel it would be that difficult when the salesman told me he could not set it and good luck. This watch is a real challenge and you can tell by the many owners thanking you for the video. I will purchase another Casio but this one will sit on my dresser in all its beauty. No need for time zones unable to see the stop watch the list of faults go on an on. When some one ask me for the time I either pull out my phone or point to a clock on the wall.

Thank you, after literally 2 years of having daylight saving time 1 hour out for half they year, this video finally solved my pain. The instructions are useless and the watches are not intuitive so this video is a great help.

Just ordered the GA-2000BT-1AR - a beautiful traditional pattern "Bhutan". It's going to take a while to get here as it's coming from Japan. This video was very helpful in making a complex watch understandable.

EXCELLENT VIDEO!!!! Was making my LAST search for info on how to set analog hands to match digital time. Have searched Casio manuals trying to solve. New watch was headed this evening into junk drawer if I could not find help. New as of November, wore a week, heart attack put me in proximity to all kind of radiation and watch was not removed thus most likely along with heart my new watch got out of whack. Now ticker in chest and on wrist are functioning as they should. Many thanks for your help with my GA 2000.

I’m generally a mechanical watch guy so when I opened the manual for a Casio GA-2000gz Gorillaz edition, I realized I was in foreign territory. Casio should be paying this guy (and linking to his videos).
Thanks, was really struggling to understand how to set the time properly. I didn't understand that 1:29 on the display was actually the date, rather than the time but reset the correct time quickly with the timezone.
I love this tutorial. I had already made up my mind to buy this watch and when I visited the shop. While Casio guy was not available to set it up and then my reply was that leave it I will set it up myself. I went through this video and was able to set it up. Thank you for this tutorial video.😀
I bought it and it has some printing on the back like g2000 modle which I don't see in this vedio , so it's fake one? I got every paper work that is included like every g shock

4:38 Being able to toggle daylight saving ON/OFF is a godsend. Goodness knows how much time has been consumed over the decades adjusting watches forwards and backwards in Spring and Autumn.
