    The pre-airbag C8 Lav has the best interior of any car in the XXI century! Makes Pagani look like a Chinese knock off. Hard to believe now that this thing competed at Le Mans and in the Le Mans Series against Ferrari and Porsche with moderate success!

      Nah, I've seen both in person and the Pagani Huayra has a lot more details everywhere inside it's the best, the Spyker is nice and iconic but simplistic compared too modern Pagani designs

    My friends and I religiously followed their racing team, the Squadron around the world and we used to get together at Le Mans. They had a breakfast meeting with us, where the drivers explained some stuff about the car and the track and many team members attended our Friday night party at Maison Blanche. We also got a factory tour at some point.
    So yes, excellent memories of Spyker. They got so many things wrong, but creating memories wasn't one of them.

    • @bicyclist2
      @bicyclist2 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      What did they get wrong?

    • @Pietervdv
      @Pietervdv 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@bicyclist2 Marketing, for one. They were trying to get some racing pedigree, but they sold the car as a more luxury orientated car than outright performance.
      Reportedly, the ride was too harsh to have a real luxurious feeling and it was outperformed by way cheaper cars. So it didn't really excell in either luxury or performance.

    Speed just doesn’t matter over a certain hp for the road, it’s all about the sounds, the looks, how the car makes you feel driving down a boss road. Always thought this was gorgeous. Had a Vantage Roadster for 2 years after moving from an M2 and I loved the lairyness of the M2 but the manual of the AM brought back the joy of driving feeling like an old school sports car. Would love to be in a position to have a Ferrari (manual F430 life goal) and the Bad Boys 911. That for me would finish off all you need from a collection 🤪

      I don't think so, if I recall right they are the older 40v efi engine. The RS engine is 420hp and direct injection. Curious as to what they did to boost power.
