I played this last night. I was not aware this game existed but someone brought it with them for board game night. It's unexpectedly brilliant. So much fun

Hello love the game but the video explaining is only a tutorial and isn’t the full game is there any chance you can make a update video so it’ll be easier to watch the video instead of reading the whole booklet

Saw this game ages ago (maybe it was kickstarter?), thought it looked cool but then forgot about it for the longest time. Was wandering through a local department store (I’m in Australia) and saw it on the shelf! I bought it instantly and am looking forward to playing it with the wife and kids (13 and 15) this weekend!

I love this presentation and the game sounds like a lot of fun, i´m working on a fire and firemen board game too and i´m looking if i´m not making the game too similar to others, fortunately not yet xD

@@RunawayParadeVideo Rescue tower, is a kind of Jenga with pieces of fire, and people, some cards for extra danger and randomness, the game is (I love that your game is not) a team game and the goal is rescue the 10 civilians.

This game looks so fun! Like most board game enthousiasts I love all the little items and these fire gems are a great visual pop. It also seems really cool mechanically. I just wonder one thing... Why do the fire watchers want the others to die? 😂 are they wizards competing to control the eternal flame?
Haha! You play as both a firefighter AND as nature in this one, so you get to protect your tower and spread the flames as well!

Question: can a player play an explosion card when there's a fire gem in the center of a Fire Tower in order to eliminate that tower?

Can we explain orthogonally ?
Let's say there's one fire gem somewhere away from the center.
Can we place a gem in one place with the wind, or three places as I've seen in other videos .. 🤔
Orthogonally, in this case, most simply means not diagonal. When placing new fire it must be placed up down left or right of an existing gem, but never diagonal. When placing a gem in the wind direction at the start of your turn, you must place only one single gem, and it must build off an existing gem in the current direction of the wind. Hope that helps 🔥🔥🔥

Played tonight with the rising flames expansion. It was my turn and I was previously killed and playing as SOTW. (All other players had fire touching their kill zone) I rolled the die, landed on the ‘place a gem and roll again’ I killed the player opposite of me. I rolled again. It was the ‘draw three, play two’ ONE OF THOSE THREE (the first one actually) WAS FIRESTORM! We instantly played it. Rolled for gem placement. It was east. This took out the player to my right. Should that have counted as one of my two card selections, or was that a play of its own and I would have drawn back up to three cards before choosing? My friend may chime in after your response with further clarification. Haha! HELPPPPP
Haha what a wild scenario! So, normally in this case you would set aside the Firestorm until you finished your action, draw three cards that weren’t event cards and play two of them. Then, the firestorm would happen. If you managed to burn someone tower with your two cards, you could then take another action after the firestorm as well. Hope that helps!
Can you use fire cards to attack towers as long as one fire gem is connected to an existing fire gem, or can you only attack tower spaces with the single fire gem you get to place down during your turn?
You can use fire cards or the fire gem you place at the start of your turn!

Quick question: I know you can get around a firebreak with fire cards (Such as burning snag), but can you still play it if the firebreak is the starting spot of where first card would start. For example if you pause the video at 3:27 could you place the the fire tokens to go into the firetower? Sorry if it is a dumb question
Not a dumb question! The starting spot has to touch a previously existing fire gem. So in the example you gave, the fire could not enter the tower. Does that help?

It can be placed on any vacant space as long as it isn't adjacent to existing fire break tokens. It does not have to be next to a fire gem. Thanks for reaching out!

What do you mean by card bundle?
What will happen if you put dozer line and will unable to put fire token at the start of the turn?
Skip placing a gem in the wind direction that turn. Remember, fire cards do not have to correlate with the wind, so it shouldn't be long before the wind is viable again!
