- Rules correction - you can choose to play no card and instead discard any number of cards to draw back up.

I know this is old but wanted to say thanks for the playthrough and enthusiasm. I’ve never spent $120 CAD on a game before in my life but after this video and some other reading I just went all in and bought the $101 USD bundle directly from RunawayParade. Thanks again man!

It is a kinda dumb - very fun - punchy game :) not everyones kind but we have a blast playing it. I am glad it was fun to watch! :P
I typically enjoy a different sort of game, but this one was a lot of fun. Definitely worth a test run if you ever run across a demo copy.
We only say dumb because fighting forest fires isn't competitive (and shouldn't be). The mechanics are brilliant and the game-play is dumb fun.
So you were playing hours of TMB back then but just recently opened those extensions in that video not long ago ? Man, I couldn't have waited that much.
FIretower looks really cool as a quick game to play inbetween or inb4 bigger ones :)
We have the core TMB :) the unboxing is just the new stuff! Fire tower comes back to KS in about a month - it’s one of my favorite light games!

From the rulebook posted at Runaway Parade Games:
Instead of playing a card you may, "Discard as many cards as you choose from your hand and draw back up to your hand size.
Buckets are not part of your hand."
I'm just going to assume this would have worked in my favor...

I believe at 17:00 the fire engine card could not remove fire from the fire tower area-only the bucket can do that

I thought you liked this game but half the time your forgot to put down your begining peice. I feel like I could probably play better than you just by watching this....
