I've just made this for a bake sale and it looked amazing. I did some short cuts as I didn't have much time. I used the same recipe for the cake, frosting and glaze. I decided to not do the meringue but instead replaced that with broken up pieces of wafers. I also left out the ganache but just used the frosting and wafers between layers of cake. When I made the frosting it was too runny so I whisked it up to get a frosting consistency. I also used sparkly golden sprinkles in the middle to give it the 'ferrero' look. As it was for a bake sale I didn't use Ferraro Roche on top. I piped out frosting as swirls around the top edge and placed a whole hazel nut on each one. It turned out amazing and tasted great too. So yeah a lot if modifications but thank you for the idea.
I think every once in our lifetime, we deserve to splurge & enjoy such a decadent expensive cake like this... Thanks so much for the generosity in sharing this recipe... 🙂

From time to time I do also think of making a ferrero cake. Then I just buy a package of Ferrero, I eat the whole thing, and just forget about making anything. That being said, I probably make this one. It just seems so gorgeous and elegant

Don't try this cake if you are looking for a spongy cake , i made this cake today for my husband's birthday, the cake looked good but the texture and taste was like a chocolate dessert , 2 layers tasted like biscuits, the other 3 three layers are brownies even hard brownies Edit- I followed the exact recipe
