    One of my favorite Pearl Jam songs. As you were saying, it really does carry a powerful message. And I love how Eddie Vedder begins singing the song in a relatively normal voice, but by the end, while singing about evolution, his voice actually starts to devolve into something almost animalistic. It’s brilliant.

    Loved your commentary, been waiting years for someone to make a really good reaction to this song. Thank you for being the one to do it!

    Thanks for the great commentary on the video/visual. As many times as I've watched it I had never picked up on the giving birth thing. Anyway, when they perform it live, the crowd goes crazy. At a Madison Square Garden concert everyone was jumping around so hard it made the stage shake.

    Todd McFarlane from Spawn comic collaborated on this outstanding video. Perfect mesh with the song. Thank you for reacting to Pearl Jam.

    Pearl Jam Ten album is actually my all time favorite album. The entire album is amazing. Also.. Last Kiss by Pearl Jam, is a remake, but amazing rendition by them. Jeremy is deep.. Would actually love to see you react to the album from beginning to end.

      I always assume it was collateral damage from a previous war. what do you think it means ?

      @@alexterrieur5800 I always thought it meant landmines from past wars still not found and can be easily activated. The daily threat of losing their live or limbs , Land mines make land unsuitable for cultivation, restrict people and their communities. Your interpretation of it can also be true.

      @@adrianisawaffle_738 Yeah, there's a section in France called "Zone Rouge" that is littered with toxic chemicals, and unexploded ordinance, left permanently uninhabitable to humans. It's a carryover from WW1 that stands today and well into the future. Perhaps this is what that scene is referencing. Landmines are a horror of war that continues well after it stops.

      I always took it that not matter how innocent and peaceful we may be, we're still able to destroy things around us unintentionally. But the again, those ants killed other insects for food and destroyed other ant hives. It's all an evolutionary order.

    If someone were to ask me "how does somebody get woke?" I'd probably have them check this video out. It covers almost everything.

    • @Alienshade
      @Alienshade 4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      You are probably a self woke denier. It's people like you that think that you know what woke is. You are already big woke people. And you usually believe that you are the way to live and everything else is bad. That's real wokeism.

    • @Alienshade
      @Alienshade 4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      This video has nothing to do with being woke. It is the opposite. They don't care what you think or what you call yourself. It is raw.

    • @Alienshade
      @Alienshade 4 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      I don't think that you know what you're talking about. What is the connection? I believe that you are much more in that direction.
