This movie is literally independent. Damien Leone managed to raise money through online crowdfunding. The film had a budget of only $35,000, yet it still manages to make a strong impact.
Yes, we mentioned in our discussion that it's genuinely so impressive what they managed to do with such a small budget! True talent and creativity is at work here!
Limited budget inspires creativity. When you can buy everything or buy best thing off the shelf, you actually need to stop thinking how to do things... And that is how gems are made. This is blood spattered disturbing gem, but gem never the less.
Art The Clown is one of the best, most sadistic but most charismatic new characters in recent horror movies. The actor who gives life to the character without saying a single word or letting out a sigh is just spectacular. 🤡🔪🔫 It's like a Mr. Bean but in the form of a killer mime clown. 😂😂
Haahahah Mr Bean in clown form is just such a specific and accurate description!! Totally agree with you on Art, especially considering how clown villains have been done quite a bit, and done extremely well, (e.g. Pennywise) so to be able to rise above all that and make the character this memorable is incredible!
Nice! I just recently watched the first two…I’m a big horror fan but not a gorehound, so I was hesitant to watch them, but they’re actually really fun. The gore is so ludicrous that you can’t take it seriously. And I love how DHT can go from impishly mischievous to a dead-eyed psychopath in an instant. His eyes almost disappear into his black makeup.
David Thornton is the quintessential case of "nice guy playing a great villain" - dude is literally the biggest sweetheart on the planet - former teacher turned modern horror Icon.
Ahahaha former teacher though?! That is amazing, gotta love how the sweetest people sometimes play the craziest villains! He did a fantastic job as Art - what a performance, especially considering he doesn't have a single line of dialogue!
This trilogy I have really enjoyed throughout. I think the kill that was the hardest for me to get through was in the second movie. I don't think I need to specify which one...if you know, you know haha. I watched the third in theater and the change to a different holiday was awesome! I like describing Art to friends who haven't seen the movies as "Well he is a miming clown who is pretty funny...until he isn't"
@@OfficialMediaKnights Ya, I wasn't on board with the hype after Terrifier 1. I liked it, it was fun overall, but I wasn't like hyped over it, but then Terrifier 2 rolled on the scene and that was when I decided to join the hype train >.

I don't know if you noticed but art is pretty Petty I forgot the girl's name but she stabbed art two times and art finally had enough and he went to go get his gun and shot her that was crazy😅
I Really really enjoyed your guys’ reaction video of this! I find that you strike the perfect balance between how much you watch/show of the movie and how much time you devote to commentary and allowing yourself to comment/react! I find that some pages basically just show their face reacting and pause very little for actual commentary which doesn’t provide much value. Others skip through quickly and show very little of the movie. For me, THIS is the perfect balance between the two. Happy medium 🥰
Terrifier 3 is now officially the highest-grossing unrated film of all time ($2 million budget, grossed over $86 million worldwide). It's amazing to see a film this independent span into a trilogy and become this successful ^^ Art the Clown is great, and these films are BRUTAL, I hope you're ready for the sequels 😅
Oh man been waiting for this one! Despite all the gore (Especially that one scene cough cough) It's a very fun movie! Art the Clown... he's something 🤣Shoutout to Team Praper for editing these vids because yeah we need it lol

Weirdly, I love these movies so much 😌😌 My favorite is definitely 2, and 3 is pretty good and fun, but 1 has such an special place in my heart . It's hilarious how 90% of the video is just blur 😂
I’m so happy you started this movie series. Can’t wait for you to do part 2, which only gets better along with 3. Plus it introduces us to a new kick ass final girl in Sienna
I gotta stick up for my homegirls in this movie a little here. I know its a common thing to yell at horror movie characters for being dumb and not finishing the job. And yeah you're not wrong but its easy to say that and a whole other thing to actually DO it. Most people would have a really, really hard time offing another person, no matter what they did. That's why killers are rare. Thats why soldiers can get PTSD. And the natural urge MOST people would probably have would be to GTFO as fast as possible. (I know thats what I would do.) So I always find that more realistic tbh...
OMG YES! I'm surprised you watched it, but i understand - 3rd part is hype now. But in general Terrifier is amazing. Hope to see next parts. Also director refused contracts with big studios, because he doesn't want to do movies like they say. So in possible 4th part he still will be doing crazy things
Something kinda cool to remember. The talk show host in the beginning of the film, is the mother from All Hallows Eve (The anthology that showcases Damien's The 9th Circle, and Terrifier shorts)
I hate clowns so my wife and son tormate me with this movie but like pervious clown themed horror movies I've grown immune and love this series. Gotta react to part 2 and 3
I actually can’t wait for you guys to see Terrifier 2 and 3!!! The movies get better and better. Which is rare for a horror franchise as you know. They also do get gorier and gorier though.
The second one is where it gets interesting and the third one is where Art gets pretty cool and iconic. Also, there is a THAT scene in every one of the installments so far. Oh yeah, and they pick up right after the last one.
As I've gotten older, my tolerance for gore has pretty much dwindled to none. I first watched this one night without knowing anything about it other than there was a clown in it, and it was a horror. I remember Tubi kept recommending this to me and one day I was just like, "Okay okay! I'll watch it!"And then, with my morbid curiosity I watched All hallow's Eve and the sequel. I didn't get a chance to see the 3rd one but I have it preordered. I'm gonna watch it on Christmas Eve 🤡🎄
Everyone praises Damien Leone rightly so but I feel like more people need to sing the praise of David Howard Thornton who plays Art the Clown it’s a great performance that is sometimes funny and genuinely unnerving.
Buenísima película y si definitivamente no es para estómagos débiles. Un abrazo TMK ! siempre disfruto sus reacciones y pasar el rato con ustedes. Keep up the good work !!
I'm a horror fan through and through but not a fan of gore. I avoided this for a while but when my mom called me laughing about it, I was like ok I gotta suck it up. I've seen 1 and 2 and yeah...I like Art😂
There are different types of horror fans. It’s always funny watching teeny bopper type fans watch this first movie because they’re probably looking for a final girl type movie. Not a huge final girl fan, as they are usually boring and contrived. For this one, I love the creepy scenes with Art. The pizza shop scene before the killing starts is my fave.
I was talking to my therapist about horror films yesterday, we both prefer ghost stories over gore, but she ended up seeing terrifier 3 in the cinema... Apparently Very immediately regretted it
Gore movies bore me, but i made an exception with this one because of its backgroung. Mr. Leone not only is really good at make up effects, but also at giving a really good 80's-slasher atmosphere and good cinematography. It doesn't look cheap for an independent movie. My only complain after watching all three is, Mr. Leone should have deeper a little bit more on the lore. The old "Show, don't tell". If after three movies the only way I learn about the lore is via interviews, he has to up the story in the movies.

Love the reaction ❤ Every time I hear you speak I hear Angie Martinez radio personality lol…I’m sure you’ve heard that plenty of times lol
I love you guys, very good reaction to a very good start of a franchise! Greetings from Chile!
Everyone praises Damien Leone rightly so but I feel like more people need to sing the praise of David Howard Thornton who plays Art the Clown it’s a great performance that is sometimes funny and genuinely unnerving.
Another banger reaction. LOVE YOU GUYS! ❤
Glad you had a good experience with it!
I saw ads for the third movie n I was like must be good if it’s a trilogy. Saw the first + second n was not disappointed
Okay now you're obligated to watch the second one. I can't wait to hear your analysis at the end of that one!
Terrifier 2 seems to be divisive among fans. I for one LOVED it.
For the cutting body part yes there's a doctor said it's possible, but it might be difficult if the weapon is rustic
I knew when The Perfect Mix watched it yall would too.
