Hey man, I just moved from windows to MacBook Pro 2020. First thing there's no usb, so i have plugged in using usbc adaptor. secondly, it gives me an error cannot detect Pod hd500x in your computer. Any help would be highly appreciated
I want to be able to hear the wet signal , but want to record only Dry signal in my DAW ,so that i can re-amp it using Vst's , how to achieve it ? 1) Using two amps setting in HD 500X ? Also can you tell what is SPDIF role in HD500X ? Thx ! :)

Just wanted to ask you that whenever i use POD500X with ableton or cubase it crashes within the project ,I connect it with usb installed latest drivers everything works well n good , but suddenly BLUE SCREE OF ERROR pops out. Many people are suffering form same problem . What is the solution please help
I have a question.. I use Reaper to record hower, when I record via Pod Hd500... the recorded guitar part feels like it has a lot of reverb when actually the reverb is off... The guitar part is not 'in the face' but feels like the recording is done from far off... Please help Any suggestions will be helpful
Hi, I've still got a pod hd 300 that I kinda forgot I had. I think I can only select the pod as both audio IN and OUT device. I read you can use asio4all to allow for two audio devices to be used simultaneously. Since you could already select a different playback device, is this due to the hd500x, or did you install something like asio4all? Additionally, I've tried setting up everything as you're showing in the vid, mandatory using the pod hd as audio out (I didn't try installing asio4all yet). However, when I try recording or put on monitoring, I'm only hearing loud static noise. Any idea where I should start looking for the issue? Should you care about the mic level knob at the back of the unit when using the usb cable, for example?
This is the mains earthing demon problem. There are USB filters you can buy or there is a really shady method where you cut the earth on the printer type cable, that actually works.

Now i tried to install on Macbook pro ios Mojave and I cannot do anything. I download licence manager and line6 monkey. I opened programme and he didnt find USB connection with my POD hd500x. Do you have a suggest to solve that problem?
i do not recommend the POD HD at all. Line 6 gave up on driver updates for those devices, continious BSOD using DAWs, a very know problem from PODs due to drivers conflict with several programs and audio Drivers so. if you dont wanna throw you money away, dont take POD Hds

I have a mac laptop when connected pod isnt reading at all in the system settings driver or daw.

when i have 32 buffering the hd500x breaks up every 20 sey. for one second and then it goes on

Me too....since that problem i always use an Interface!!
Make sure you don’t have the Pod HD 500X edit program while you have your DAW open, that solved the issue for me and many others

I have a huge amount of radio static the moment I plug my pod into my computer. Any ideas what this could be? Sometimes it crashes my computer.
Where are you listening to the guitar? Are you using headphones? You might be picking up noise through the headphone wires if their dinky wires.
