Wow, East Fleet Campsite looks like an absolute paradise! The stunning coastal views and peaceful surroundings make it the perfect spot for a relaxing getaway.
😂😂😂 I didn’t realise how much I was doing it until I edited the video and the problem is the camera just focus’s on my finger and blurs the background, there will be less finger pointing in Friday’s video 😂 glad you liked the video thanks for your humerous comment 😁
Lovely video guy's , Campsite looks lovely but would have to visit out of peak Holiday time especially having our two dogs. Loving the sunset . Looking forward to your next trip away 😊
Thank you 😁 yes lovely site especially if you have dogs the dog walks are stunning. even though we didn’t show it in the video we did end up doing a bit of the walk. I would recommend beginning of July that’s what we are going do next year as the kids not really bothered about going away with us no more 😂
Hilarious, I was on holiday at the same week with @vintagenorah who commented earlier. (Our van can be seen at the 22:30 mark, right behind the lady to the left.) Beautiful sunsets, the lagoon was good. And I agree on the showers bit, the queues were quite long. A something that I often had a chuckle at was when going to the bathrooms, I for some reason had a thing going on where I'd go around mid-day. And to those who don't know, it seems they clean the bathrooms at mid-day. A lot of going back and forth was happening. Ridiculous price for the food at the bar though. It was truly an experience that we were needing after almost a year of being away from Weymouth. Also as someone with OCD, it helped with battling that too.
Also we ended up realising one of the things we were looking for (I can't quite remember exactly. I think it was the drinking water pump.) was right behind our van, and we had been looking everywhere for it.
Hope you had a great holiday we sure did, the weather was excellent I just had a look on the video and yeah can see your van 😂 they definitely need more showers ours was unisex in the stable field I didn’t count them but I think there could only be about 10 I was having mine about 12am but seem every one else had the same idea in the end even got a bit busy then 😂 we didn’t eat in the restaurant I did hear it was quite pricing and only substandard our 2 drinks cost us £11 so didn’t do that to often. It’s good to hear a nice holiday help and you could just relax thanks for your comment and happy caravanning
Oooo, I have chuckled. About the 22 23 mark our mhome is behind you😂. A lovely site, views are beautiful ( a perfect week of sunsets.) My home town for 23yrs until last year & this year we came back as 'grockels'. ( local term for holidaymakers 😅). ( The fleet lagoons/chesil beach was one of the first places they tested out the prototypes of bouncing bmb).Happy Travels to you both. Look forward to part 2.🥰
That’s funny to think someone watched our video and sported their own Mhome I hope you had a lovely holiday the weather was so nice we sure did. We went to chesil beach, once we was there Claire decided against walking length of it 😂 weymouth is lovely first time for us and we would definitely be going back next year be good to know of any other camping sites you would recommend 😊
Lovely videos guys. So many walks at East Fleet. My favorite campsite. Was there in June and going back mid Sept. Absolutely lovely. Every eve, for a last little walk with the dog, I always take that path and sit on the wall you were sitting.
Thank you 😁 it really is a lovey campsite and we did do a few walks off camera which was very enjoyable we would of done more but ran out of time in the end so will definitely be back, hope you have a lovely trip in September
Great video, enjoy watching you guys, very lovely and down to earth. We go this weekend for the first time in our new caravan, so watching the you tube videos for some advice. Do you use your shower? Seems some people do and some don’t. Happy travels 😊
Thank you, your going have a fantastic time and even more exciting new caravan! We use both to be honest it was only because we was close we used the showers, Claire did use the shower in the caravan most of the time
Great vlog thanks for sharing we have been there before , lovely views but think people are quite close together I know it’s like that at a lot of sights , lovely sunsets and the shop is really good . Xx
Yes I felt they seemed to be a bit closer together in the north and south fields but that might of just been my imagination, the shop I really liked best one we had seen so far thanks for watching
I know you like a Park Dean, so next time try the Haven site in Weymouth, have stayed twice on the touring pitches and fantastic views of chisel Beach and great walks. Open top bus from the site straight into Weymouth if you don’t want to drive a pay for parking.
Well we don’t like the Parkdean no more 😂 but we know what you mean, me and Claire did say maybe we should do an haven site and it might be a good video to compare between the 2 big companies, thanks for the tip especially with the bus! As you said would save lots on parking!
That road is a bit of a pain. I met 2 cars on that bend towing our van in. The woman driving the front car couldn’t reverse so I had to do it for her just to get through 😂😂
Oh no really 😂 that’s the only thing that bug me with the site just the road because of story’s like yours but overall really nice site and despite the road would definite go back maybe not in summer holidays though
Thanks for sharing the site with us but it’s not one we would visit because it’s soo big, it’s my idea of hell. Too many people around me. Probably better out of season, but that entry road - gah! Look forward to the next one 👍
The entry Road was my biggest bug bear if you just wanted to nip out could take you 10 mins just to get out of the site like you said probably a lot better out of season I did say to Claire I was glad we was in the stable field as the north and South field was very busy but all being said I would go back but just not in the summer holidays 😂
Hi we lee we only blow are dometic 390 up to 7 / 8 bar definitely no more as bladders could burst especially in hot weather we have same pump glad you liked east fleet apart from access & the beach
Hi Paul ours is a 400 and I was using PSI reading am I right in thinking 7/8 bar is around 10PSI? The access was a bit annoying especially meeting 2 or 3 people with caravans but I would definitely go back.
So your trying to tell me Claire was right! 😂 to be honest I didn’t even think of the heat expansion until your comment I will definitely be setting it a bit lower in future thanks for the advice👍 glad you enjoyed the vlog
Think you miss understood what I was saying I have 20 years experience in driving a lot better bigger out fit then a car and caravan I was trying to get across that if you just wanted to nip out it can be frustrating thanks for watching 👍
The make is a TRESPASS it is about 5 years old so not sure if they still make that one anymore. we got it from go outdoors it’s really handy folds away into a bag and really lightweight
Just subscribed as we enjoy your videos! Can I ask, when you fly your drone over the parks you stay at, do you need permission from the owners as all the sites we've been to don't allow drones and I always have my mini 2 with me on our hols? Tony & Lizz 👍
Thank you glad you enjoyed the video, if you have check that there are no airspace restrictions then yes you can fly over the sites as they don’t own the airspace but if there don’t allow drones then your have to make sure you don’t take off or land on there land what I do is I usually find a public land to take off from hope this helps 👍
We love weymouth first time for us and will definitely be coming back, that would have saved my legs walking up that hill if we had known thanks for the tip 👍
East Fleet Farm was amazing before it was taken over. Fish and chips van, Pizza van and Burger van in the week, the new owners stopped that, still an amazing site tho. I bought a outdoor revolution Awning, it is single bladder but it has a pressure release valve so you pump it up til you hear the valve blow, it is good then in the heat as the excess pressure built up from the heat just blows out of the valve so it won't damage the bladders.
Hi mark yes it would of been nice if there was some food vans about but I suppose they stop it to make you eat in the restaurant, Claire also said it was a bit of a shame the barn was only open couple of nights a week especially it being summer holidays. We got our awning secondhand so don’t think it has that feature but it sounds a really good feature to have
@@CaravanTrails it was a privately owned site when we first went, as you said the company that took it over wanted people to eat in the restaurant. Still a great site.
It was a nice site and I agree could do with other shower/toilet block. Claire did tell me after that the pot of jam was small so glad she didn’t get it in the end
Wow, East Fleet Campsite looks like an absolute paradise! The stunning coastal views and peaceful surroundings make it the perfect spot for a relaxing getaway.
It’s a lovely campsite and well worth a visit 👍
Gr8 video cheers guys
Thanks 👍

Thanks again Andy always appreciate the comments it really helps the videos. We have a few videos coming over the next few weeks so keep an eye out 👍

Thank you 😁 it’s been a fun year so far from not ever owning a caravan before we have learnt a lot but probably still getting some bits wrong 😂
I like your videos thanks for sharing.

You need to do more exploring the area videos whilst your on holiday.
Next weeks video we take a little look around weymouth Chiswell Beach and Portland Lighthouse 👍
@@CaravanTrails cool 😎, you 2 have got the watch again appeal, amazing editing as well.

We have 2 greyhounds and a 2 berth van …. Thank goodness we bought inflatable awning too as they think the sofas are for them and no one else 😂
Definitely helps with space and when it’s warm I find we tend to just sit in the awning most of the time we couldn’t be with out one to be honest
Please could you tell us the make/model of your prep table?

Ah yes, that makes sense to not take off and land on their land, and I always use Drone Assist to check the airspace before flying 👍 thank you! 😉
Holmsley Campsite, Forest Rd, Burley, Christchurch
nice place
Thanks for the tip we always looking for new places 👍
