sadly sharks are one of those creatures that don't have that much development in the region in the brain regarding emotions. The shark may associate a person as not a threat or someone who gives food but that's sadly the limit(kind of like snakes).

Do you think she's being protective, which could indicate attachment, or maybe she just doesn't want to share food? Idk maybe you're right, or maybe it's just an unusual connection. Sometimes wild animals, although extremely rare, do form connections.

Man, I get really tired of the massive anthropomorphizing. We can deduce she's at least comfortable and willing to initiate contact, but we don't know a sharks emotional state on a personal level. Sharks don't have the physiology to "smile" in the same way humans or primates can (for varying reasons).
