- The squirmy worm is a devastating choice to fish under a bung. I tie them in many colours and some perform better than others on certain days, but the best colours in my opinion are bloodworm red, yellow, black and pink.
The key is a good squirmy material, and I would highly recommend FNF squirmy - it’s top drawer.
Hook - Fario FBL302 Ultimate Short Shank Barbless Black Nickel size 10
Bead - 3.2mm Red Brass Bead
Thread - Uni 8/0 Red
Tail - FNF Squirmy in Bloodworm Red
Body - Flybox Synergy Micro Straggle UV Silver in Fl Red
This pattern upsets some people, but it catches fish and great for winter. I always have some in my box!
Thanks Chris another great wee vlog 🎣✊

Thanks John. The squirmy material is a pain at times, but after tying hundreds I find this method is the best, as it’s simple once you get used to it 👍🏻
Did you say what size of bead?
I didn’t actually, but in the description! 😊 3.2mm brass in red 👍🏻
