Love the Red Magic 10 Pro. I’m not a gaming phone enthusiast but for some reason I really dig the look of it. The fan I assume would stop it over heating & the screen dimming when I’m outside in the heat which is what happens to my current phone in Australia.
I have got a black backed phone since i started using samsung with the s4. I got the red magic 10 pro in moonlight, and it arrives in a few days. Im really excited for something different as well.

17:36 bro this phone is $650 for the 12gb model with 256gb storage. The 24gb is $1000, which is still cheaper than....every mainstream phone? It's a hell of a bargain for what you are paying for. It even has a whole TB of storage, which is almost as much as my pc.
The Red Magic 10 Pro is the best looking phone made to date but it doesn't have E-SIM which is kinda a big issue, it's not waterproof which isn't a big deal for anyone who isn't a mermaid. It has Android 15 but as a former Samsung user i miss the basic Samsung apps and UI, simple Samsung apps like file explorer, Samsung Mail, etc... The screen on the Red Magic 10 is amazing, close to no bezel and the camera is under the screen. Overall i'm happy with my purchase. E-SIM is a big issue though in 2024.

This phone doesn't even have circle to search eventhough it's android 15. The Red Magic team, need to create their own apps and focus on the interface. The Red Magic 10 doesn't have room for an external SD card, we can use 2 physical simcards but this means that if you already have an E-SIM you will have to revert it back to a physical simcard by visiting a store. When i travel i use online services to buy E-SIM cards to not turn back home to a €10k+ roaming bill. So i can't use those anymore so outside of Europe i will have to physically go around asking providers to sell me a simcard with data like the old days.. It's a waste of time and effort to walk out of your hotel looking for mobile internet provider stores and asking for simcards.. It's just a step back from even an A series Samsung. After i've been using the Red Magic 10 Pro for a week i can say that this device looks amazing, however that's about it. The cameras are not good. The apps are not good, none of the apps are good. Even the google apps which we are forced to use because Red Magic don't have their own apps are not good on this device because you can not use 100% of them. I'm coming from a samsung A54 and i can say without a doubt that even the Samsung A54 is a much better phone when it comes to the apps/options. Red Magic 10 Pro isn't stable, it's very buggy sometimes even the navigationbar disappears en doesn't return no matter how many times you swipe up. This phone could become perfect because it has the hardware but they will have alot of work. It's the most beautiful phone tho, that's 💯.

I’d ask you guys to check out iQOO 13, especially the legend edition. Another Snapdragon 8 Elite phone but probably half the price of most of the phones in this table. Goes way under the radar since I think it’s only available in India.
Actually Vivo is releasing the X200 Ultra which will have the Snapdragon 8 Elite within the next few months. The X200 Pro believe it or not is there mid-range camera phone.. that's why most are completely fed up with apple Google and samsung.

I have a Samsung S24 I use for camera, call, text, etc. But you can easily use the Red magic as your main phone with the exception that the hidden front facing camera quality is not the best, so keep that in mind, the rear main camera is much better but not as great as a flagship, l Samsung, Google, or iPhone camera.

Believe it or not this is not the Ultra of vivo's line up. This is the "mid range" the ultra will be out in a couple of months. So for the price and for what you get this blows the competition like apple,samsung and google out of the water.

The Red Magic 10 Pro is the best looking phone made to date but it doesn't have E-SIM which is kinda a big issue, it's not waterproof which isn't a big deal for anyone who isn't a mermaid.
It has Android 15 but as a former Samsung user i miss the basic Samsung apps and UI, simple Samsung apps like file explorer, Samsung Mail, etc...
The screen on the Red Magic 10 is amazing, close to no bezel and the camera is under the screen.
Overall i'm happy with my purchase.
E-SIM is a big issue though in 2024.
That's why they also have the nubia z70ultra which is camera centric and comes with ip68/69 :)
@josephtanphotography They should create their own UI and apps, i'm using google's apps for sms, call, contacts etc.. and it's not for me.
This phone doesn't even have circle to search eventhough it's android 15.
The Red Magic team, need to create their own apps and focus on the interface.
I'm disappointed, i hope they will update this stuff but then i hear that they will only have 1 update and only 1 year, if that's true then definitely not worth buying.

@@tdubs6760 Because many of us in Europe already use 2 simcards for various reasons, personal/business.
The Red Magic 10 doesn't have room for an external SD card, we can use 2 physical simcards but this means that if you already have an E-SIM you will have to revert it back to a physical simcard by visiting a store.
When i travel i use online services to buy E-SIM cards to not turn back home to a €10k+ roaming bill.
So i can't use those anymore so outside of Europe i will have to physically go around asking providers to sell me a simcard with data like the old days..
It's a waste of time and effort to walk out of your hotel looking for mobile internet provider stores and asking for simcards..
It's just a step back from even an A series Samsung.
After i've been using the Red Magic 10 Pro for a week i can say that this device looks amazing, however that's about it.
The cameras are not good.
The apps are not good, none of the apps are good.
Even the google apps which we are forced to use because Red Magic don't have their own apps are not good on this device because you can not use 100% of them.
I'm coming from a samsung A54 and i can say without a doubt that even the Samsung A54 is a much better phone when it comes to the apps/options.
Red Magic 10 Pro isn't stable, it's very buggy sometimes even the navigationbar disappears en doesn't return no matter how many times you swipe up.
This phone could become perfect because it has the hardware but they will have alot of work.
It's the most beautiful phone tho, that's 💯.

Nah bro, the Vivo x200 pro was robbed. It should've won best big phone and the MVP. Its literally better than the 16 pro max and s24 ultra. Also 'best camera' needs to be split into best photos and best videos. Cuz the Vivo takes better photos too

No, it was not robbed bro majority of us do not take photos all the time. The performance of a phone processor is more important. The S24ultra is a beast, not only a camera issue, but overall performance battery life plus camera plus speed plus durability plus software supports plus AI etc vivo got nothing on that phone.

I’d ask you guys to check out iQOO 13, especially the legend edition. Another Snapdragon 8 Elite phone but probably half the price of most of the phones in this table. Goes way under the radar since I think it’s only available in India.
Actually Vivo is releasing the X200 Ultra which will have the Snapdragon 8 Elite within the next few months. The X200 Pro believe it or not is there mid-range camera phone.. that's why most are completely fed up with apple Google and samsung.
It's going to be most likely China-only, though. At least the X200 Pro is widely available. Also it's funny people rile on MediaTek chip. The 9400 actually trade blows pretty well with the 8 Elite.

@MelonHei the UI is great. But I use it as my dedicated gaming and media consumption device. I have a Samsung S24 I use for camera, call, text, etc.
But you can easily use the Red magic as your main phone with the exception that the hidden front facing camera quality is not the best, so keep that in mind, the rear main camera is much better but not as great as a flagship, l Samsung, Google, or iPhone camera.
I don't use the camera or social media, and I game only a little bit, mostly movies and media...Which would you suggest, the RM10 or S24?

Believe it or not this is not the Ultra of vivo's line up. This is the "mid range" the ultra will be out in a couple of months. So for the price and for what you get this blows the competition like apple,samsung and google out of the water.

I wonder if red magic would make a gaming phone with a 100% screen to body ratio sinc the red magic 10 already has a 95% screen to body ratio display. I wish there was a mini led display version of the red magic gaming phones. I wish that red magic made the red magic 10 design as the red magic tablet with the same 95% screen to body ratio while still retaining all the same features as the red magic 10 phone features including the headphone jack and the rgb fans. It's possible to have graphene batteries on smartphones and other electronics even though it's going to be more expensive but it has 5 times the longevity compared to lithium ion batteries while also being non flammable with graphene batteries and amazon already sells graphene batteries for charging devices like a smartphone and devices that needs to be charged.
