14:30 I know there are issues but the fact that I could *FEEL* such extreme secondhand embarrassment for the guy who desperately wants anyone to dap him up to no avail is amazing. No AI art has given me that kind of guttural reaction
Well it matters because you had to learn, work and invest your time to create something, while AI is accessible to anyone and also pretty much doesn't take any time
@@Kevkf I don't really get this criticism. Art and A.I Art can and should co-exist. The meaningful side of art, the part that convey's very particular things will never be replaced by because A.I doesn't have feelings or a perspective. What A.I art can do really well and should do is establishing shots, replace stock photos, allow for large enviornments to be created quickly so they can be altered by human artists etc. I love writing screenplays but I can't storyboard for shit and I use A.I to generate approximate images of what is in my head for that purpose. In the future low budget filmmakers will be able to use it to generate environments that would have been absolutely impossible in the past. So I think it will end up being a tool just like any other. Abused by some, used really well by others. People right now are just unable to be objective and hand wringing just like people did when planes came on to the scene
So where's the uncanny valley? The phone reviewer looked wrong and I could tell he wasn't real and yet, it didn't have the freakish look to it. Like the phone standing up right and looked almost like a photo in front of him. and his hand movements were good but his fingers didn't move right with the hands and didn't really move separately. The crowd hockey pic, nobody has a shadow.
I dont understand the frivolous nit picking, oh the tiny hat in the background or the name plate on the rack way off in the distance doesn't looks slightly off. 15yrs ago it would take a team of animators months on super computers and they couldn't come up with shit this realistic looking which we are now getting within minutes by just off a text prompt!
The AI is intelligent enough to know that an animal bat with vampire fangs would most likely not be in the hands of the child. But a bar like this is more likely.
"A Jaguar car driving off of a ramp and flying away into the clouds of NY city's skyline in the background" WHAT A MISSED OPPORTUNITY! You should have prompted "A Lambo doing 96MPH in a school zone". I AM KIDDING, I am kidding... we all know you tried that already, offcourse.
I hate it when big tech announces a product that isn’t available to the public. Just don’t make an announcement, then show the thing in a closed room for investors. To hell with your hype strategy!
instagram reels is slowly getting filled with ai videos of animals fighting or dumb stuff and it really makes me put down my phone so thats kind of good
I understand the use cases for such tech but I don't understand the point of giving it out to public. Text based genAI is fine, but access to genAI models creating media files should only be with those who can actually explain their use case.
does this mean that with this technology now people will be able to sell windows animated backrounds for a subscription of $50 a month?! We are doomed!
Having computers rip styles off is a new phenomenon. Is there trademark or copyright practice that actually allows us to identify issues? I mean nobody would bat an eye if an animation is created by a human that looks similar, even if it is on an ad supported TH-cam channel. Maybe if it is on cable, streaming or cinema. Same for branding or design shown on recordings. It is a thing on movies, nobody cares on TH-cam if an Apple device or a branded shirt is visible on somebody.
Any hockey fan would notice the NJ one lol. The cup is so wrong. The real cup doesn’t say New Jersey Devils on it like that and that’s front and center. It’s not fooling anyone. I’d buy the car over a green screen or CGI vs the hockey one.
People are so funny. The same things were said about cars, planes, the internet and so on. Sci-Fi films and stories were written about them all just like we have seen with A.I. In the end, the reality of the technology will be much more mundane then people right now seem to think
@ Mundane? Doubt it. We are consumed by technology now and there is no reversing it. People are going to be making a fortune in the future with the power of VR just like people have with live streaming from their home.
When you think about it, it kinda makes perfect sense because how many examples of such a thing could it be trained on? I can’t think of another sponge that meets the criteria.
I wonder how AI company plans to avoid the massive lawsuits that will happen as soon as they will try to profit using videos coming from LLM that are being unequivocally trained from copyrighted materials
Google deployed cars and satellites to canvas and log literally every square inch of the planet so you can get to work a little more conveniently. If you put the data behind lock and key they can (and already do) collect their own
Clearly, this AI model has seen Sponge Bob cartoons. Don’t the original artists own these likenesses? I’ve heard my photo can be copied without my consent which I think is wrong. Owners of AI models are going to be targeted for all sorts of legal trouble if they persist in using content owned by others.
You should put these same prompts in sora and see what the differences are.
Exactly, and that is my main problem with this video
Would be terrible 😂
sora is no way close to this
He did this and showed in his channel's shorts.
That first prompt: Ask for a SpongBob video without asking for a SpongBob video.
If it's not trained on copyrighted material, then it can't recreate that accurately with that short of a prompt
We all saw the video too..
@@Matkatamiba To be fair there is lots of fan art or even non-AI generated ripoffs online with such descriptors to avoid lawsuits.
Google is definitely benefiting from all those no view and less than 100 view videos with this
E-type Jag was pre ABS so the wheels would just stop, given the right amount of braking force.

LMFAO. Facts!
99% of people not noticing doesn't mean anything. I've worked in VFX for 20 years and 99% of what we do wouldn't be noticed by 99% of people.
Well it matters because you had to learn, work and invest your time to create something, while AI is accessible to anyone and also pretty much doesn't take any time
And it only takes millions more in time and money to do it your way

How old are you? 12?
@@Mardoxx7 I don't think so.... Even kids are much more matured and tolerant
Cringe
People in the comments obsess over such weird things like their opinions matter 😅
That was his third time speeding that we know of. Police pulled him over twice. He keeps getting away with the crime
There’s a game with ramps….you mean GTA!?!?
Kinda like Marques' driving…
Not gonna mention that 4 out of 6 of the hockey players in the locker room clip are the same person???
Keep picking those nits

The car video looks like it could be a commercial. I can imagine words on display when the sky is in clear view.
why are there 2 people still sharing 1 mic?
serious question. whats the deal with that, each time one of them talks has to crouch over the mic
The real business model here is the adult industry 😅
Just wait for VR video generation.
same story different decade :)
Porn is getting banned in Florida and will be banned in rest of US.
Is it an American succes measuring hierarki thing having your own mike vs having to share one?

The "Stanley Cup" comment was incredible
oh, that car didn't come with ABS ;)

The dolphin did a double jump...
Imagine being able to explore an AI generated open world in VR
On this side of the pond we would say the dolphin video is a "curates egg".
Claiming you’re good at this level of prompting is like claiming you’re good a picking your nose.
🇧🇷🇧🇷🇧🇷🇧🇷👏🏻 Veo 2 is incredible! Google is absolutely nailing it, so excited for Project Astra!

Pineapple grows upside down so I think it physically got it right

Do users care how ai companies train their models? I know I don’t. I just want them to be as good as possible
I think he misspelled “looming” as “pooing”.
How do we know off this video is not an ai
Maybe they thought it was more important than we thought!!! SpongeBob??
Jag E Type is too old for anti lock brakes anyway lol
BeamNG is the car game
blender is industry standard atp why’d he say it looks like bad animation?
The Unity effect. If it's free to use and widely used, people associate it with a lot of amateur/beginner projects
I swear if we’re not already living in a VR world, we’re going to be. And idk if that’s exciting or scary.
