You don’t have to gain weight to get stretch marks. You can also just grow too fast in puberty and get them.

I got this treatment 2020 and I would say I saw an 80% reduction, and improvent of my stretch marks. I've spent thousands on creams, and other treatments and nothing happened. Don't be discouraged by one bad experience, I would go for it again if I could. I did take extra measures, I didn't wear any tight clothing for 7 months even when my skin healed, and I didn't stop moisturinzing with olive oil for skin until year 1. I am 4 years in and I am confident. I would do it again in a second and as many times as necessary. No cream, and no amount of self talk about aceptance would make me feel as good as I do after the treatment.

Thank you for sharing! I hope your transparency helps others. I spent most of my life being ashamed of my stretchmarks and at 31 I am still humiliated when I see my stretchmarks in the mirror on my breasts, hips, butt, and stomach. I also have loose skin now and no pregnancies. Prevent, I can’t stress prevention enough.

I am so insecure about them and I'm always wearing clothes that hides them... anyway i saw the before and after photos on their IG and i was so excited and hopeful to get this treatment done. Jusf like you said, about 3 weeks after my treatment my stretch marks started looking much better i was so happy to see that something was FINALLY working(so i thought), but just like your experience, once they completely healed i was back to having bright ass white stretch marks 😫

    1. Collagen supplements

Based on your photo after your treatment I don’t think they went deep enough or did enough passes! From what I read online the stretch marks are dark for weeks even up to 3 months after treatment especially for POC. It has to be like this because the idea is to add pigment back into the skin. Since you healed so quickly twice they definitely could have done a better job! I got my first treatment 5 weeks ago and the marks are still dark! I’m Fitzpatrick skin type 3-4 for reference.

I can see where you’re coming from but the stretch marks are essentially scar tissue and have lost their natural melanocytes. The idea of dry tattooing is to bring these back. If you think about it this way, when you stand in the sun do your stretch marks tan? No.

I'm sure this absolutely impacts it! I think there's a lot of factors that go into it. I don't recommend against it at all. Just didn't work for me, and I can't find any long term reviews outside of their IG.

I am so surprised they didn't recommend the Camouflage treatment on the 2nd time. Once they flattened the stretch marks out, that should have been the next step.

Unfortunately, this is permanent. Until now, there is no product or action that can remove it, it's just that over time the color will change. You can try using natural oils such as olive, tamanu, almond, or virgin coconut oil to fade it.

Hi hi!!!! So I have done the inkless treatment and have gotten some results. One reason I will NEVER do it with ink is because I’m hopeful that one day a better laser will come out. Whenever you try to laser an area that is treated with skin colored ink, you run risk of the laser permanently making that area Black/Blue. I HATE my stretch marks but I am holding off 🤞🏽
