All I can say (as an Englishman) is its a very Germanic take on what a Bentley SUV should be. Still looks like a kind of fat Austin Allegro Vanden Plas
+fish fingers Come on the Allegro was really bad looking. Besides our royal family is a German take on a German family. Somewhere in Saxe Coburg and Gotha the Queens genes live on :) That Windsor moniker is not fooling anyone.

Well said ever heard about the Hanovers or Saxe Coburg and Gotha along with Montbatten etc Yeah Lizzie would fit well in this ride on her way to Chapel at her country estates. Besides Bentley now provides her with cars. The syntax is rather archane By appointment to HM QEII not the boat LOL motor car manufacturers. I may be wrong but I remember all correspondence from Rolls Royce to me had a letter head to that effect when Rolls Royce held that position back in the day. It never failed to make me laugh. Oh Rolls Royce Motor Cars LOL Looking at one of their letters right now. Mine came out of RR Motors inc 140 East Ridgewood ave NJ Have a few copies of Queste the owner magazine. The paint job isn't helping, but that's an astonishingly ugly vehicle; really can't see anything redeeming at all about the exterior. I suppose at least if you're driving, you're not looking at it from the outside. The interior two-tone blue-and-khaki/tan is hideous as well.

+Spyros Kapraras I know the cayenne is more comparable to the range rover sport, but the range rover is king of the SUVs. Unless you are looking for a fast SUV then you get the Cayenne.

Based on this review, the Bentayga is a rich and luxurious beast that's solid in every way, shape and form - Classic Bentley.
This was a great review, i've never come across this channel, but for once an intriguing presenter.

You need to lower your expectations, even for a Bentley, if you're expecting some sort of CF monocoque platform at a measly $229K.

It makes sense that VW/Bentley is heading into the luxury SUV market. Currently, if you want an SUV from the factory with a truly luxurious interior, the only place to go is Range Rover.
The ashtray is designed with the Chinese market in mind. In that market, rear leg room and ashtrays are very important features (much like cupholders in the US) since most wealthy people are chauffeured.
The design sure looks nice with the hood open. Way to present a car.
BTW, like those fast-food napkins stuck in your chest pocket.

I think it looks wonderful. It looks bold but also like a sport suv. And I have no doubt that it will be a better car than a Range Rover. Luxurious, Comfortable and Sporty. And for those of you who say its ugly, if you had the money to buy it, you would look it from e different perspective!
The exterior is just not worth the word 'luxury' , but performance , specs and interior , Bentley nailed it very well . It's good for a start.
I owned a Mulsanne MDS until a few months ago, and I am no SUV guy by any stretch of the imagination but this is the best looking Bentley in the lineup at the present time in my view, hoping the next Continental will mirror the beautiful EXP 10 concept seen in Geneva rather than a flawed FWD VW sedan as it is the case now. Those directional wheels are simply astounding. Might get it in ivory w/ tan interior.

With the mulliner package I just simply love those cars man And even though they are out of production..!! In my opinion I say when Bentley built that car it was hard to build because everything was by hand..!!
