Travelling is the only thing we wana do in our life. We really wana be able to go out there and explore the beauty and majic of nature, living the moments and experiences, making good friends. We can all agree this video has inspired us so thanks for making this video!!!
i use to live 2 blocks from 2nd st. (which is the street shown going west towards Long Beach) i lived on Prospect St...i moved from Belmont Shore after 9/11
Wow glad you made it to Belmont Shores AK. Love that strip, I lived up the street for 2 years. I was a beach bum, went to Seal Beach daily. Thank you, now I can see that street again too. 💘 love it.
That's where I grew up. Spend many nights of my teen life on 2nd street, and nearly every summer day at Alamitos Bay or the beach on the other side of the peninsula.
El pollo loco means crazy chicken. It's a restaurant chain out of Costa Mesa, CA that specializes in grilled chicken that operates about 500 restaurants in the southwest. It's VERY good, if you like chicken. Cheers! :)
Finally got to catch up in watching this. Thank you for showing this lively area, since I've never visited this part of Long Beach! Glad to see Tracy and John accompanied you during this walk. 😃
Use to DJ almost around all the bars in Long Beach. Fun times. This is the really nice area of LB, but could get very dangerous quick on the wrong side
I like your videos, you did so much in la while you were here. That's impressive, everything is so spread out, you must have spent half your trip just driving (and taking the metro).
Open Sesame is my favorite restaurant in that area. There is line because its so yummy! The funny thing is that they have two locations on the same street. I guess one is for large parties and the other space is for regular dining. Definitely check it out if you're in the area again! They also have a location near the Grove shopping mall in LA on Beverly Blvd.
What the heck is going on? Are you in LA or are you in Las Vegas? You are freaking all over the place. I cannot keep up and I am not even doing the walking.
Speaking for those who live and work in the neighborhood, many of those empty storefronts aren't because of covid lockdown. Many hedge fund vulture types bought these buildings and tripled the rents almost overnight.....and this happened before the rona. Late stage capitalism in effect yall!
@@derekluvsboba I tried it in Berkerly a few years back and it was delicious. I just thought the process up there was interesting. Never tried the one in Glendale or Belmont Shores.
Just moved to NYC from Long Beach and used to work on 2nd street. This made me homesick lol

Thanks for watching
This is a very upscale neighborhood of Long Beach that not everyone knows about, tucked away near the border of L.A. County and Orange County.

When I win the lotto I'm going to retire in Belmont Shores. I love it.
Me too🙌🏽😉

Sobering up at Hofs balcony? That's the mark of a real LBC peep.
It was nice time to stroll and pleasant to see so many nice people. Thank you.

@@mrnslbayc56deuce He is in New York now.
❤❤❤❤❤
So tragic to see empty buildings and store fronts after businesses closed during the lockdown. The street has a different character now.
