- New video with spinnaker: • Santana 20 DIY Sailing... Footage from Santana 20 #126 "Reaction" during the 2013 Folsom Lake Yacht Club Single Handed Regatta. Wind was 8-12kts with the occasional gust over 14. By the 3rd botched tack I was really missing my crew. 3rd place overall. Unfortunately the camera battery didn't make it to the third race or the only spinnaker run of the day.

Nice job Mark. Thanks for posting.
Nice video. I'm considering an S20 and wondered about single handing it. Thanks!
When needed, I use a 2.5hp 4-stroke. I've used it in San Francisco Bay with no issue. I've seen as much as 5hp motors but I wouldn't go any bigger.
You make it look easy
Good job passing the other boat while wing on wing. :)
Ive never seen a boom like that??????????????
What’s up with that boom? I noticed the whole class has them.
how big HP outboard engine Santana 20 can hold? the entrance at the marina where I live is a little bit tuff and sometimes is important to have a fair engine, what would you suggest sir?
thats some fast music for such a slow sport.
That doesnt look Safe or Smart...you are endangeouring the entire lake...let alone the cost of rescue to the the taxpayers !!
This was part of a regatta with a committee and safety chase boat. Taxpayers have never paid a dime for anything sailing related at Folsom Lake.
What a karen 😂
