    Thanks for sharing this story.
    I am a Retired Nurse.
I have experienced doctors that were very biased over the years.
I have straightened out a few of them over the years.
Of course being a Jamaican I do not take any foolishness from anyone.
My husband is also a Retired Medical Doctor..
I am so glad that this Nurse knew her values.

Thanks for sharing this powerful story! As a retired nurse, I’ve encountered my fair share of biased doctors throughout my career. I’ve stood up to them more than once, and as a Jamaican, I definitely don’t tolerate nonsense! I'm proud of this nurse for knowing her values and advocating for what's right. It’s crucial we continue to challenge biases in healthcare!

The medical ICU cardiologist at my job was a Registered nurse before she became a doctor. She was always very humble. Whenever she came to the ED for consultation she would be so respectful to everyone and helped even with patient care if we were tending to one of her patients. I will never forget her..a wonderful African American woman who made a lasting impression on my mind.

      A wonderful American woman!
Unless she knew she had African fore parents and told you, one must assume she is aboriginal American.
Yes, that's right, America was a black (so called) Continent before the european conquest. Less than 300,000 African prisoners were enslaved in the USA.
Most melanated Americans are descended from Aboriginal Americans not Africans.
Your racist governance system has kept this truth out of your educational system history books.

As a Crohns patient, I was just in the ER on Friday. I had a great Young nurse. Very gentle and nurturing. I didn't even feel the IV needle going in. I wish I'd gotten her name.

At my yearly PCP visit, a young attendant came to do my blood draws. She was quite efficient and gentle. As she finished, I saw her name tag as MD. I asked if they were short staffed. She said they only get several hours training in med school on needle sticks, she needed more training, and took every opportunity to get it while working at my clinic for a season b4 beginning her residency. I was very impressed and told of horror stories where physicians didn't seem to have a clue about drawing blood. Newfound appreciation that day by both. It was a great experience. If this is the case, the emergence of AI can replace doctors of the job and management. There is no way a physician would not know who was the medical director would not be known. This has not truthfully told. I could have seen her being an equal as a physician, but not as the medical director. But the arrogance of some physicians is arrogance. Team work is so important to a well run medical institution.

In this video he talks about a nurse studying hard at medical school and my grandpa was a surgeon and my sister is a RN, and my niece is a RN and she worked for the Army and she just retired after 25 years but I heavily respect the medical field as it's not easy, but in this video he is definitely wrong even when I was in the Army, now I go to the VA HOSPITAL at 23rd and 1st Avenue in MANHATTAN whenever I need something

Why are there so many videos promoting racism and hate. We all know how the world feels about people who are different. We need to be promoting the opposite, love and compassion for others period.

That's right, their interactions with each other, evidences the truth, racism is learnt.
Sadly this grew out of the Papal Voyages of Discovery Doctrine of the middle 15th Century to the early 16th Century, which enabled the Euro elite of the past, to secure their hold on power, influence and wealth.
They strategized that the best way to secure their generational dominance, was to divide and conquer other ethnic groups and to strengthen their hold over the lower classes.
As they colonised the world and established slave colonies, a two pronged classification was agreed upon. (a) Social class (already in place) (b) Colour.
Middle class 'whites' (those granted political/Judicial/financial and military power), would be used as 'gate keepers' against any potential lower class 'white/black' coalition against the ruling elite.
Lower case 'whites' would be given opportunities denied to all 'blacks', kept separate from each other and given different treatment under the law and opportunities for social and educational empowerment!
That is the reason why 'black people' are still marginalised, propagandised, repressed and oppressed, equality legislation not withstanding!
