You're the only TH-camr i know who is willing to admit and unironically discuss why some licensed games are good, and what makes a good licensed game. not to mention how those games entertained you when you were young, and why you still like them when you're older. you aren't afraid to admit that, and y'know dog, i'm into it. you hear a whimper in the heywire about how x licenced game was "actually okay" but you actually exclaim it!
Needless to say, I like your stuff, man!
I only played as Shrek because he's the main character... Also for segments that required him. It's funny how the main character plays the worst.
Lil Red is the GOAT. That jumping spin attack is legendary, plain and simple.

This actually looks like a decent game, dang. I miss these old brawlers, last I can remember was LotR on GC funnily enough lol.
LotR Return of the King on GC was amazing! It's been on my list to pick up for a while.
You should get this game. It's actually solid.
This game was one of my all time favorites as a kid. I’m not even kidding I probably played through it and beat it about 20 times. It just never got old to me. Loved playing co-op with my friends when we had sleep overs. Ahh back when times were easy. Cheers

I remember exploring the haunted forest as a kid. It felt genuinely scary.
Same. It took me and my sister several attempts. Especially the donkey chase
I loved this game! You should also review Shrek Superslam.

Holy what a blast from the past
I still remember how hard the "timed button mashing combo and dancing for 5 minutes?" level was. I got stuck on it for at least a couple month as a kid. It could be brutal on ps2

This is actually called Shrek 2: Team Action. the Shrek 2 videogame with no subtitle is a third person platformer.
you were clearly a pc game player at that time,as this is what was released on consoles as Shrek 2 , you guys got the third person game on pc only for this game to be ported over under the name team action, so you're not wrong but you're not right

I hated the far far away level. There a whole bunch of parts in this level i couldn't get past as a kid. That part about the bank robbery. And that one where the princess is going shoping and you have to portrait her. Arrrghh. No joke i jast use a cheat code to skip this level.

i hated levels like far far away where you had to beat minigames in a certain order to finish the level
As far as I understand you could beat the minigames in any order, you just needed to beat a minimum number to progress.
@@BobbyBroccoli as far as i remember you had to beat them in a certain order and then talk to one of the npcs that gave you mini games, a specific one if i remember correctly but this time he'd have a third option instead of play and cancel that would lead you to the troll in far far away , , i actually remember finding this out on a cheat code site maybe cheat cc lol because i had played every minigame over and over and nothing was triggering any advancement
@@BobbyBroccoli actually now that i think about it the trollwas just a minigame and it would be the option go to next level but i never got it until i did the minigames in a specific order
